This is great, Emily! I’m excited for this project. Thank you for helping your dance teacher! I do watch the shorts occasionally, but I like these longer format videos. Work at a pace that makes you happiest. ❤️
Please… turn your air on! I’m positive viewers won’t mind seeing you comfortably showing your projects rather than having high quality sound. I can’t wait to see the progress on your home.
We love you, Emily! I can’t wait to watch you make the house a home ❤️ Bless you for making it through the summer without AC 🥵 I definitely understand the therapy from dance 🥴 My history with dance is a mixed bag of complicated emotions. I’m so glad you had a teacher that has been such a positive influence in your life and I’m sure you’re a ray of sunshine in her’s 💛
Missed your videos! This is such a kind thing to do for your dance teacher, I’m sure she will really appreciate it, especially since she’s been through so much recently :( I love the hotel room vibe of the space - super relaxing :)
I love your projects so much. You’re so creative and you’ve given me so many ideas for my own home. I like both your short and long videos..if I had to choose I’d have to say I like the longer ones a bit more but both are great. Can’t wait to see what you’ve been doing at your own house and what you do to your dance teacher’s house. I know both are going to be great.Looking forward to your next video😊 🤗
I enjoy the longer you tube videos , but i like the shorts as well. TT has not been sending your videos my way lately. The new room for your dance teacher looks great!
Not sure I can help much with my vote because I am a super fan and will watch all of your short and long content. Make whatever works for you, is most manageable and makes you feel the most inspired. Everything else will fall into place.
Loved seeing the mood board and hearing the design rationale. For my attention span - if you had introduced your dance teacher in the same way, as a voice over some footage of her and her space I could have followed along better. Xx
I love RU-vid videos the best, but am so grateful to get whatever works best for you, especially during this new transition period. Maybe once you figure out your budget, and your finances being a single person, you may decide you can hire someone to edit for you 5-10hrs a week, as a way to help you lighten your workload & im sure there are young editors who would LOVE the opportunity to work with you, and learn from you as well!! Good Luck, take your time & don’t feel the need to apologize. Your crushing it!
It's nice to see you again! This project is very exciting and I'm looking forward to seeing how it progresses. That said, taking care of yourself will always be the most important thing and I'm glad you are doing that. ❤️ You are very talented and you seem like a very kind person so I have no doubt you will find a new balance that works for you. ☺️
Grass cloth wallpaper 100% shows seams, it’s not a problem if you know that going in. But a lot of people don’t that bc of furniture place and lighting on socials. I think the design is beautiful!
phew! You must be so relieved you have AC now (I'm assuming our summers have been similar since I'm in VT and these past few weeks have been HOT). I keep up with you both on tiktok and on here, and I definitely appreciate the longform videos too. I will watch any video you put out - I always enjoy them!!
I’m so happy to have discovered this video! It’s the look I’m going for in my new condo. Would you please share the black wall Mount sconces in this video? The ones by the bed with a phone ledge and long black ones adjacent to the TV.
I’m kind of disappointed to see the sleigh bed go - I love them!! - so I hope to see it elsewhere in the house. In the meantime, I don’t see how anyone could not love the new furniture! And you’re so generous and sweet!! I truly understand what you’re going through. I’m likely old enough to be your mother, but if you ever need to talk or unload, know that I’m here. My heart broke when you told us you were now alone. You just didn’t deserve what you were dealing with!! And you hid it all so well! But I guess we’re conditioned to do that. No matter how long it takes, we’re excited to see the transformation to your own home!! I think I can safely say that for any of your long term viewers, and most likely for those who haven’t been here as long too! I can’t think of anyone who deserves it more!! And you will find happiness again. I ended up luckier than I could ever have imagined and you’re still young, much younger than I was, so I’ve no doubt you will too! Healing just takes time. Then, suddenly, out of the blue… 😉🙀 in the meantime, be good to yourself!! You deserve it!! PS - I don’t care which orientation you choose - the phone flips both ways!
It will be so much more rewarding when you look back. You can say you persevere and accomplished such a gorgeous remodel all on your own. Congratulations on your current z as d future growth 🫶🏾
Hi Emily! I know I’m a little late to the show, but I’m about three years out of a serious relationship where I thought I was going to get married to this person and we were going to live happily ever after. My point is that I understand how you feel completely. I’m sure so many others have said the same thing. But to Emily or any girl going through a break up: the best gift you can give yourself is time, patience, and self-love. Just do things you enjoy. Be gentle with yourself, spoil your inner child. Do things that make you feel happy, safe, and complete. Be artistic. Feel your feelings but don’t let them consume you. Even if it’s scribbling all over a piece of paper, then ripping it up, then burning it, do it to get your emotions out. Just remember you are loved, you are valued, and you matter. I’ve made it to the other side so I PROMISE you will be okay little beanie baby 💕
You are doing great! Also, you're the first youtuber that I actually come and watch your videos when they post and I get so excited to see your content. 💕
I'm an avid RU-vid watcher and I'd say longer format (~10+ min) in horizontal format is best for this platform. That said, vertical is fine for YT shorts.
Hey Emily, I did mention this before, but this project does seem to suit @Beckiandchris Peckham's videos on Home Reno, they are addicted to Black white and grey and could give you some extra ideas As for vertical videos, I still prefer the landscapes, especially with the interiors stuff, we need to see as much as possible and wide is better than narrow!!
bramka when she changed the bedside tables to smaller wall-mounted ones, I was like no, where is she going to put glasses like three to four pieces. Edit: also that rose crystal lamp where should it go because you know now girl is into healing
Hey Rayna, looks great! But wanted to quickly say that brands aren't donating anything, they're partnering with you because they think you're talented and want your followers to see their items! You're the asset to them, not the other way around.
