When her parents walked into the the room, her mom gasped and cried immediately. Her dad was absolutely stunned and motionless until Gabe walked up to him and gave him a hug.... I was gone. Absolutely GONE.

When Sarah was making the phone call in the car, my phone ringer went off and my heart skipped 1000 beats because I thought I ruined the surprise...

My son is a marine and when Jess’s mom screamed it reminded of me when my son surprised me after not seeing him for 18 months. I too screamed and it was one of the hugs I’ve ever gotten. Your moment really touched me. 💕

This is one of the best videos I’ve ever watched of a reunion. There’s so much happiness and nerves. The fact that Jess finally saw her family after that long is so heartwarming. 20:52 is my favorite part because Jess she realizes she’s finally home

I watched multiple times from when your parents saw you. So cute, so very sweet and so touching! Your mum clutched her heart and didn't bother moving her glasses. A mother cries so often, both for good and bad, what's the point in removing glasses for tears. Awwww 😭 and your dad, he also clutched his heart but he took off his glasses before settling into the cry. This is so special. I came across this channel because of this video and I’ve absolutely fallen in love with the Conteam. I have a similar story where I moved from California to London and I didn’t see my family for almost two years. When I finally got the chance I booked tickets and showed up and surprised them. Seeing Jess cry when she saw Australia again struck a major coed because I knew exactly what she felt in that moment. I was in a really bad mood, so I decided to watch the entire back home series and DUDE! IT MADE ME SOOO HAPPY!! I LOVE YOU BOTH SO SO MUCH!!

Their relationship is going to be so much richer now that they can freely visit family and share life experiences and holidays with both sides. Jess and her family were under so much stress and to hear them all cry at the relief of reuniting and that she can freely travel now was so well documented and filmed. this truly should win some kind of award.
