Listen man, in the REAL WORLD! This is exactly how pregnancy announcements / reactions are! I promise you! They’re not anything extravagant and like “omg I’ve just seen the gates of heaven” everyone is judgemental, giving unsolicited parenting advice, underwhelmed and shocked, hesitant and just in shock because no one can picture someone having a baby just like that randomly! And no one is ever ready to be a parent! Being a mom/dad is learned one cry at a time. You can prepare all you want but every baby is different and you don’t know who your baby is until they’re here and you have to adjust to your child. It’s a learning process. They’re taking it one day at a time, the family will be more excite as time goes on and when baby is born. This being an “underwhelming “ is actually very authentic and real because this is literally how most people actually react to pregnancy announcements

To think, that a year ago Alondra was in a unhealthy relationship and Benny dreaming to be with Alondra. Now Alondra is being treated like a Queen by such an amazing guy and now they r having a baby. I can’t even begin to imagine how stressful it has been with this pandemic and your girlfriend being so seriously sick with this pregnancy. Benny looks sad and worried and tired. The weight of the world is on his shoulders. Benny wants to be a dad. Benny wants to take care of Alondra and the baby. Benny’s mom clearly loves him and I would have loved to see and hear her reaction but, we didn’t get to. I can believe that he would have called her right away. He is close to his mom. Mom was sad when he moved to LA. Who knows how his family is really doing. Perhaps the year has been bitter for them. Perhaps mom just misses her baby.

Benny is probably just sad he’s away from his family. He always puts his family first no matter what, and for him to not be there is really hard for him. Maybe his moms cry’s cause her only son is now having his own family and it won’t be the same anymore. The rest of the family might feel that Benny won’t be around as much as before. My wife and I had been together for 9 years when we told our families we were pregnant. They have always been so supportive of our relationship & even they didn’t really react all excited jumping for joy. My wife’s grandma even said “no comment”. Broke my heart but now everyone is so obsessed with our baby. Once bennys baby comes it’ll be a whole different story. They’re going to love that baby so much. You also have to remember they’re probably old school and would’ve wanted him to get married and be more situated in his relationship before bringing a baby into the world. They also barely know Alondra but it’s all gonna be amazing ☺️🙏🏼
