I also wish my family whas like this. My family live 6 hrs away. Only family i got who live just down the road is my parents but my aunt's uncles cousins i havent seen them in 8 years we don't really know each other. Unfortunately we cant afford to go visit by my family because of how expensive petrol costs. And my husband cant get off from work. My other family live 24 hrs away so jip my family lives pretty far away. When i watch videos like this where families all get together do things together actually puts a lump in my throat. But im greatfull to have my own lil family and to at least have my parents live just a walk away.

A lot of RU-vidrs get fancy cars and designer clothes for themselves flexing left and right and you're over here working hard with your family to give your grandparents a happy home to love and be just for them. My mother's side of the family is Canadian and she grew up in Canada then she came to the states to be a nurse, but I spent my summers in Canada with my Grandparents and sadly they've gone home to the Lord now but the kindness and the Canadian accent and the love shared on this video takes me back to my childhood and puts such a smile on my face I'm so glad I found your channel and that you shared this particular video Thank You Mia !!!!! I think they were genuinely thrilled, and at the perfect age to thoroughly enjoy it. Any older and sometimes changes can cause stress and confusion. I think the surprise factor was so smart. It would never get done, otherwise. Also, they got a vacation Fantastic, unbelievable job!

I think you as a family poured so much love into what you did for your grandparents. Overall, they seemed to like it, yet I too sensed a little bit if your grandma possibly feeling inwardly like a bit of it was too much , but she loved it more than the small feeling of being a bit invaded. I feel like this whole family is precious.... The fact that everybody would want to do this for grandma and grandpa says sooooo much about them!! Old age homes are full of "forgotten" old people, but if your parents and grandparents made an impression on you to an extend that you renovate their home and spend HOURS and a lot of money on them, it means they are worth every minute and every sent. I live 1 hr and 20 minutes from my daughter and 2 Grandchildren, they used to come visit, but Covid changed a lot of things. We are old now and it's hard for my husband to sit that long with bad knees so we don't see them. They live in Vancouver BC, life there is very busy, each day is filled up. Our house is even more full than your Grandparents house and this is giving me..ideas on what I could do. We live 20 miles N of Seattle in a rented house, sooo maybe I will paint. Your renos are so cool. A lot of people don't know how to do this stuff but, like me, want to. I can totally see you having a channel just for diys and renos. Teaching and showing people how to do stuff and the things you've learned. Think on that, it would be amazing! Your grandparents' reactions are just priceless. You did that out of love for them, never regret that.

Mia ur such an inspiring woman, I cried, laugh with this video and I just wanted to say ur such a nice and caring person, youtube should be about this, helping others through this platform and not just showing off their things or doing stupid stuff on the internet. Your grandparents just looked sooo soo happy and grateful. In this internet thing we need more persons like you, REAL INFLUENCERS. Omg!! I cried!! Thank you for sharing, I cant imagine how you felt going thru your grandparents stuff and thinking if they wouldn't mind or if they would like it because they save so many things that for them are all treasures.
