I have seen my share of dancing shows over the decades, from childhood through young adulthood (Dick Clark's American Bandstand) the mid 60s (Hullabaloo) the 1970s disco craze (won't name the show, didn't care for the genre, because disco goers lacked empathy, were cold hearted--saw themselves as "the beautiful people") Soul Train and now DWTS. Not to be contentious with with your comment, truly and gently, but IMHO Ana and Enrique occupy the stratospheric heights of dance, well above the talent from ALL of the aforementioned dance shows COMBINED. They are matchless. This lovely video self-evidently explains why in words I could never express. I would suggest that rather than have them compete, DWTS should showcase Ana and Enrique in one episode, to demonstrate to the country (as well as competitors past and present), how dance is transcendently done.
