My grandfather was a chauffeur , and his boss frequently would loan the car to him for his own personal use. Imagine a young black man driving a 1966 Porsche 911 in the townships during the height of Apartheid in South Africa. Still today, he expresses how he would love drive it one more time even if he cant afford it. I wish i could buy it for him whilst he is still with me on this earth. Time is running out...

Love the old owner wanted to be there for the new owner. Good thing he was there too. Great Dad's never take expensive gifts from their kids and you notice he will not take the keys from his son. Old owner HAD to give dad the keys for him to accept it.

my dad had this car when he was 18 from his dad and got in a reck when I was a week old, he was 22. he could not afford to fix it so he had to sell. my sister and I, when we got older with 2 years of searching and 3 different owners, later were able to find it. it was in boxes and just a frame. but we got it for cheap because the guy did not have the time or money to rebuild. gave it to our dad on his 40th clean and placed it in the shop and all three of us rebuilt it together

Those tears on their faces running down while looking at their surprise gift is truly priceless. Tha happiness, excitement and joys we saw from them is truly satisfying. Seeing them so happy to the best we can do as their children is truly a blessing. We love our parents to be happy and be out of worry for whatever circumstances it was or is.

Love these videos. I was fortunate enough to be able to buy my mom her dream car for her birthday several years ago. Her reaction when I surprised her with it was priceless to me. And she always told people her son bought it for her anytime she was asked about the car. Giving her that car is my favorite experience of my life.

Ya absolutely love to see older folks still sharp as a tack. The man in the last video was nearing 80 and still had full control of his faculties, was still quick with the wit, and could recall stories about being a teenager with clarity I as a 22 year old barely have. That shit made me smile so hard. These videos are always great, but it makes it even better knowing he was still fully there mentally and physically to be able to enjoy it to the full extent. Being able to see the car would be one thing, but still being able to drive it, feel it, enjoy it as a mentally sound human being still…just takes it to a whole other level.
