@@MattRhodesSport I can't 2ait either. But in the general landscape of middleweight to light heavyweight, Sandris Sedis is strong but he pulls in a tested league. Although Irakli is smaller, he is not necessarily weaker than Sandris. Lachlan has major holes in his game (go to his youtube channel and watch his latest video) and also Sandris' video. Lachlan lacks pronation and consequently struggles to produce side pressure. There is no way his bicep alone can hold on to Irakli

Nowhere near? Clearly you don't know much about armwrestling. Dave and Levan NEVER tested each others side pressure against each other. Levan negated Chaffee's access to his side pressure by controlling his hand/wrist. Levan had every opportunity to let Dave slip so they can go into the straps, but clearly, Levan wanted nothing to do with Chaffee in the straps, thats why Levan was squeezing on Dave's hand so hard, to not let him slip. Levan didn't want a strap match, period. Out of straps, the stronger hand and wrist dominates, but in the straps, its about who has the stronger arm. RVJ used to dominate Todd Hutchings out of straps because he had a stronger hand/wrist, but in the straps, Todd used to always dominate him because he had the superior side pressure and overall arm power. The question is, if Levan was so confident in his strength against Chaffee, then why even in the 6th round, when his victory was already secure, he still never let Chaffee slip to get into the straps?? I wonder why?

@@thereeper8849 in levans own words in the straps it would have been even worse for chafee. Levan even offered to go deep inside in a hook(where hand would have been a non factor) and chafee was Afraid to go in a hook.

@@zero082294 Levan is clearly bullshitting to save face. If it was gonna be "worse" in straps, then why didn't he let Chaffee slip even once so they can have a strap match? Levan had every opportunity to prove he could beat Chaffee in the straps, but he was clearly afraid of doing so. And Dave has recently said himself, his elbow injuries don't allow him to hook anymore. He said its very painful to do so. Thats why Chaffee has changed his style after his injuries and turned into a top-roller. Hooking puts all the stress on your elbows.

They all win and lose apart from Levan, that's what makes the sport unpredictable and entertaining. No way I would write Dave off after that loss. Chaffee losing an extremely close match to Morozov and Laletin to Silaev, to me makes their match very interesting.

@@MattRhodesSport yeah Ermes just needed to gain strength, it looks like he’s a level below Levan, Vitaly might also be one level below instead of 2 when he’s in form. Levan since 2019 has increased 10% in strength looks like which is way too much.

I think Levan has more side pressure as well but I actually do think it is really close, Chaffee is strong as hell too, Levans hand is just enormous.

Also there is no chance Denis is only 50%, you'll say that but you really don't understand what that means, think about it. 50% is literally 50% of everything he's ever been, every single lift in half. I doubt that hes only lifting half of what he used to or has just half the power. In armwrestling 80% is significantly weaker than 100%, someone who has only 80% the strength of an opponent is getting ripped off center and flash pinned. For example I would say the top superheavies below Levan are somewhere from 75-85% as strong as him realistically, its just a sport where smaller gaps look really big because its force against force

@@rjharrold2907 All the percentage that we often hear from the athlete definitely are not the real indicator. Just like 40%, 62% Revaz. Just that 50% sounds more suitable to say you are not ready yet to compete as compared to saying you are 80%. And yeah, if we are being realistic, even Irakli who's outside the top 10 is probably 80% of Levan in gym lifts and 90+% in lifts that involves bicep.

I can guarantee roids give you maybe 50% or some less power.

let's say they probably downplay it a bit, so that when he comes back it seems bigger, and the oposition doesn't need to know Dennis' real power anyway, he is at least 70% in my opinion if not more, or he couldn't hang with his training partners. So think a bit logically. he said 50% in lifting, cause he doesn't need or have to lift like in the past yet, until his cleared medically he can start to climb slowly. But he is already doing that. So my problem is John's antibiotics must have an adverse effect, that Mexico bug made him delusional, the biggest thing he said Chaffe has strongest hand and side pressure, even more than Levan. Though he lost to Levan clearly on strength and now to Morozov also, and Genadi and so on. Imo Chaffe's neck finished his career .

After the match with Corey John was talking about Corey being stronger than Denis. Also predicted Devon to beat Levan 🤣

Iralki is like pound for pound stronger than Levan. Like IMO is more impressive. Levan is 180kg.. ok strong yeah.. but Iralki is not that big 90kg or 100kg and insanely strong.. Imagine 180kg Irakly.. he could toy with Levan if kg means power :D
