reminds me of the "OSTERMANN COUPE 40" from the 80s...! and the GFK bus conversion kit from the same time thrown together! nice idea, but I didn't like it 40 years ago, what's still missing is a 16" Baja chassis, 30" wheels and a floor assembly shortened by 14" in the style of a Scamell Pioneer truck but with the curves of a Beetle

You know what makes this episode funny is that Ian is currently building a VW bug on his own channel and he ends up using that fiber glass roof thingy

Nope, I ain’t doing that, I haven’t the patience for all that sanding :D if I’m doing that I need a big robot arm with a cutter bit on the end ;p) The frame work bit I can do okay. Also, it looks amazing.

Great work man. Perhaps you can add an electric motor. It might take away the thumper sound of the bug motor but it will be able to move pretty quick.

Back in the 80s/90s there was a company in my country that used to use the exact same van-style back on beetle conversions. only ever seen one in real life, looks so cool tho.

Amazing!!!!!!!!!!!!!! but needs chrome and maybe some white slashes VW style running into the rear fenders.The old cars knew how to break up surfaces.Youre twice the size of me -so I do the same with slotcar bodies.
