It has been an honor to be involved in bringing the world of tokidoki, a popular global brand, to India. tokidoki, which translates to “sometimes” in Japanese, is an internationally recognized and iconic lifestyle brand based on the vision of Italian artist Simone Legno and his partners, serial entrepreneurs Pooneh Mohajer and Ivan Arnold. Since debuting in 2005, tokidoki has amassed a cult-like following for its larger-than-life characters and emerged as a sought-after global lifestyle brand.
For a brand this engaging and fun, it was essential we create a fun activity space for kids to come and interact - an experience with larger-than-life characters. For the installations, we drew inspiration from their 'Donutella' and 'Unicorno' characters.
The outdoor setup is an introduction to the world of tokidoki with a 20 ft. tall Unicorno surrounded by other characters from different themes of tokidoki. The indoor installation is inspired by donuts and candies - to bring out the Donutella Family. For the kids, we also added a donut-shaped trampoline and a sprinkle-themed play-pit to play in.
