To turn my Surron on, I have to flick the Breaker like 15-20 times for it to have the Battery to light up, I shouldn’t have to flick the Breaker a bunch of times for the bike to actually work
Hello, I'm Renaud and i'm building my own batterry for Sur-Ron Street Legal with Sintech Controller and i plan to keep the original screen and connector to battery. According to the wiring diagram there is 2 wires flagged as "COM" the first one, the purple one, is not connected to battery BMS so i suspect this is for diagnostic/programming. The second one is blue/black can you have the information about what is it for? how it is connected to BMS (UART COM RX? TX?)? and is that a "must have" cable or can i delete it from my new BMS?
Apart from the sticky wheel I’ve got the same problem with the turning on and the battery display aswell as the diagnostic cable i replaced my controller so it’s not that how did you fix your bike?
I have a ludicrous xx mine just took the same stinky crap this afternoon. Less than 200 miles on it. I had to physically pick up the bike and carry it about a mile home so I wouldn’t burn a hole in the rear tire 😅
Pretty much same thing happened to me. All I can think is that the controller is basically shorting the motor making it hard to spin. Kinda like the regen. It felt like the most shuddery thing as if the belt lost half it's teeth and a bearing went out at the same time when it happened. Really weird. I have about 500miles on mine and it just took a crap. Hopefully surron and luna will help out or I guess I'm going to a bac4000?
You should NEVER unplug the charging plug from the battery when the charger is activated, you should always unplug the charger first then unplug from the battery. Have you try jumping the key switch? from the video it seems to me like the controller is not getting power, you should unplug the battery from the controller and replug it, sometimes the battery doesn't connect.
I actually made this video to show to surron. It was the controller that went bad. Seems to be a common issue on the group of bikes bought when I got mine as a few of us all had controllers go bad within 60 miles of purchase.
