MashaAllah, mashaAllah, mashaAllah! Please post more videos of Ayatullah Jawadi Amoli. The English speaking and convert/revert community is in desperate need of this information, explained in such a clear way. Too many scholars and speakers today only mention the surface level of Islam and dua and prayer. They hardly ever mention the state one should be in. There is so much going on at the masjids that i attend that are superficial. People are only worried about doing as much amaal as posible and they dont even bother about presence of heart. There is no depth or contemplation when we rush from one thing to the next, and most scholars and the community in general seem satisfied to keep things at the low level they are at, where its all about quantity instead of quality, its very sad☹. For the people that are striving to go beyond the superficial level, it is very hard when we do not have speakers that talk about or encourage depth and spirituality in the religion, and its extremely hard to find books and lectures by such individuals as Ayatullah Jawadi Amoli that are in English, so we are at a loss. I am an american convert to islam and at the beginning of my 4th Month of Ramadan, i thought, "is this ALL that islam is? A bunch of rules (fiqh) and rituals?? There HAS to be more to islam than just THIS"...and that very night, i was on the web looking for that "more", and suddenly, i "accidentally" came across a lecture of Dr. Farrokh Sekaleshfar, and in less than 3 minutes, i said outloud, "THIS IS EXACTLY WHAT IVE BEEN LOOKING FOR!!!"....and it took me 4 years of attending the masjid regularly, watching numerous lectures from all sorts of different scholars and speakers..(i drive alot so i always stream lectures while im driving, when im out in nature, when im at home doing chores, out hiking, etc. so ive listened to ALOT of speakers!) It shouldntve taken me 4 years to come across someone who spoke about the spiritual core of islam. I believe its something i shouldve come across much sooner being as active in learning about islam and following it as i was and still am...it scares me to think of how many converts have turned back from islam based on them not finding the "spiritual food" and satisfaction they were looking for, and instead turned to some new age beliefs or pseudospiritualism😣 Maybe the reason why it took me 4 years to find what i was looking for, is so i could speak up about the sheer lack of focus in this area as someone who experienced it, but eventually FOUND what i was looking for,so now i can request from people such as yourselves that THIS is what is needed in the masjids and on social media and elsewhere... In sha Allah this has been of some help and in sha Allah you will continue to post such words of wisdom. May Allah(SWT) granymt you all the best in this life and the next. Salam brother/sister I was brought up in a Muslim household and I completely agree with you we need to work more on spirituality as a lot of hadiths and Quranic verses cannot explained except through the lense of Irfan(Islamic Mysticism), for Example RasulAllah's hadith:"Die before you die." no one can understand that unless you look at it from a Mystic's lense die before you die means killing the nafs(egoic nature) as you're whole life you believe you are this ego(nafs Al ammarah) but when you let go of it you have technically died. havint cried or felt anything for so long, is this real ,is this magic, the impact of what this great man has had upon me with that one verse from the holy Quran about yunus the significance of the preyer in the whale i dont know its been a few days ive been reciting it and every time i do i cant stop crying. Evil has been my partner for a very long time i have destroyed and hurt the ones that love me i am like yunus there is no human that can help me no science no medicine. I am afreaid to even say that its had an impact i dont know i hope and prey that Allah is my only helper

I’ve wronged myself I’ve wronged my wife I’ve wronged my parents my brother my children and especially the ahlulbayt Allah keeps me alive when I should have been dead many times over, sure there is luck but luck only goes so far. My actions my choices are severe girl with all respect I don’t want to slip anymore I surpass humans in a lot of ways this is with my mind altered for more then 15 20 years of my life. No matter what we have done and what wrongs we have committed, we always have the opportunity to turn back to Allah. He turns our wrongs into rights. He reforms us. We just have to make the intention. Even if we despair in our own goodness, we should NEVER despair in His goodness. We are not deserving, but Allah is infinitely kind and gracious towards us. Just ask Him, make the intention in your heart, and He will come running towards you insha'Allah.
