Surrounding The Rubicon // Off Road Near The Rubicon and Lake Tahoe 

We took a trip up to Tahoe (Truckee) and had the chance to explore some trails that surround The Rubicon. We first explored the Sierra Buttes Trail. While about 1.5 hours north of The Rubicon, this trail is an incredible destination if you're in the area. Next, we tackled the Buck Lake Trail. This is an off-shoot of The Rubicon that takes you to picturesque and remote Buck Lake. Buck Lake Trail proved to be challenging, and the Sierra Buttes Trail (while easy) presented its own obstacles.
