Anyone can boil water in a pot on a fire. How about boiling water in a plastic bottle in an open fire. Sometime you may need a survival hack such as this!
@@G_moneyy thats why he said topped off. Literally filled to the very top, leaving no air pocket/ bubble. With the bottle full, steam cannot form, as there is no space. It wont explode.
Is plastic toxic, or is that just a superstition? I don’t see why a vessel made for long term storage of consumable liquids would be made of a toxic material, it’s more likely to be made of the most chemically inert and reactionless material As far as I’m aware, cellulose is the main ingredient in most plastics and has been for some 60 odd years, The whole micro plastics stuff is stupid, might as well say you’ve got micro anything in you and the environment, Micro arsenic, micro mercury, micro lead, it’s a non issue if it’s micro
