Survival Tip for Staying Hydrated

The stems of desert rhubarb contain a lot of water. They are also sour, which promotes salivation. Chewing the stems to extract the water helps relieve thirst but don't eat too many. Rhubarb is high in oxalates and can upset your stomach. Use it in moderation until you can get another water source.

He composites technology into recent health knowledge on diet like keto and use electricity to shock tension into his abdomine and so on. If the sunlight looks dangerous that day, he work from home. Easy way to kidney stones - especially when dehydrated. Educate yourself pls before you advisee others: "Though Wild rhubarb is entirely edible, due to its high levels of calcium oxalate, a chemical linked to kidney stones, people prone to developing them should limit their consumption."
@ChadZuberAdventures
@ChadZuberAdventures Год назад
Perhaps you are missing the point. First off let me say that I have eaten this plant and others (such as curly dock) many many many times over the years. I understand the presence of oxalates in this plant. In fact oxalates are found in many fruits and vegetables (spinach, blueberries, etc). That’s what the “science” says. Personally I have never seen calcium oxalates. So, I’ve eaten these plants and I have never had kidney stones. I eat this plant as a way to provide a little hydration to my body when I am thirsty and when I happen upon this plant. I never said to eat a pound of it a day for the rest of your life. I simply said that it is a good source of hydration in times of need.
