Considering the first ending is you in the hospital and everyone else dead, it's kinda like the makers _assumed_ you would get yourself and everyone killed on the first run...which I think is reasonable.

I definitely prefer this style of Puppet Combo games. Where you can explore and do multiple things. But you also don’t have to restart from the very beginning when you die. I hope they continue this trend that Bloodwash started

Got a good chuckle at the "Dr. Pleasant" reference. He's suppose to be Dr. Loomis from "Halloween", who was played by "Donald Pleasence" That's a really nice touch. XD

I do like what the game has that makes it unique, but it somewhat feels unfinished/incomplete. There are so many optional things that just lead to different way to fight the killer (which don't seem much more effective than the base weapon.) Maybe I was just expecting a bigger mystery or something.

I don’t know if it was edited out, but after you answered the door and met the doctor, I thought you forgot to lock the door after he left, and that was how the killer got in. It would’ve been nice if there was an ending where by having everything locked, the night went by like any normal night and the ding dong ditcher ripper wasn’t able to break into the house because you managed to lock everything.

Maybe there is a secret (fourth) ending where you kill everybody and use the gun to kill the docter aswell, maybe burn the house down while you are at it.

persona 6 really took a different approach to its art style huh

This was a lot of fun and good spoof on the classic slasher films, like with Dr Pleasant subbing for Donald Pleasence as doctor for Michael Myers. The dialogue was hilariously bad which made it great. And the sexiness stat where you get the girl also typical, - but having to use someone's thong made it funny. Perfect for Halloween month.

DJ Hans sounds like a stereotype of so many different things at once that I think he's totally original and cool.

This is closer to how level increases could work in some older RPGs, like how Deus Ex would give you xp for exploring places. Or xp for character interaction and resolving plots.

When I heard “Puppet Combo” I already knew this was going to be a good horror game

This game feels like its set in the Vampire the Masquerade: Bloodlines universe and im all for it.

I thought this would be just regular survival horror game with vhs style that has been pretty popular lately. I didnt expect the NPC and skill points! Its actually pretty cool. Dr. Pleasant is hella badass lol

I do think there's some tasteless elements here that don't add much, to the extent that it was more comedic than scary, but the level of freedom you have with some solutions and the stats did help this stand out a fair amount. The evil ending helps too.

oh it's a game, figured you'd be sharing stories or advice, i had to deal with this situation, he was doing everything he could to kick in the door, ended up getting an adrenaline rush and barricaded the doors with a somewhat large safe and a ton of furniture. after that i cranked up every stereo in the house to AM channels with screeching noises to either try to scare him off or alert my neighbors, my phone had been off the charger and was at 0 when i needed it most.. i haven't made that mistake since. anyways i was about to convert the microwave into something wicked when he seemed to give up, and i was able to dash out to my neighbors and call for help.
