This is by far the most interesting, visceral, and /dangerous/ version of a cyclops I’ve ever seen, I love this animatic so much! Edit: Polites, as a peaceful person, is probably the worst possible overt death caused by Odysseus throughout this song

Plus it actually *SHOWS* that he's a son of Poseidon. The head of a crab, spines like a fish running down its back. And the legs of a horse, an amalgamation of creatures. A true monster, a true son of Poseidon.

But did Odysseus really cause Polite’s death? I guess if he shot the sheep, but that was a huge misunderstanding. I do wonder if Odysseus had let the baby live, would his actions still have been the same after Polites? Would he feel the same amount of guilt? 🤷‍♀️

Funny thing is, the Odyssey is worse. The crew didn't kill the sheep, Polyphemus killed two of them as soon as he saw them. The way the crew blinded him is worse too

Honestly mirtfi’s animatics are my favorite of all for the epic series, you should react to the rest of them they are so good, the character designs are so good!!
