yeah so the different between milk tea and "milk tea" is one is made out of milk powder and the other is added with fresh milk, the one we call milk tea are usually the one made out of milk powder, the one where we added fresh milk is latte

Behind the the Taipei Station, there has a bus infer , you can take bus to any place of North, don't need to take train, Taiwan has any bus to any where.

Hi! You can first leave your backpack in a hotel or in a locker at Taipei Station. This will make self-guided travel easier. A heavy backpack will make you tired, so walking will be easier.😅

You can use your easy card to pay for goods in all convenient stores and fast food joints like McDonald's. If you register your easy card online, you can rent e-bike and have all receipts saved in the card.

We have limited time (3 weeks only) but it was enough time to indulge ourselves into so many local authentic dishes, street food and bubble teas! We've made so many great memories so far and are already thinking about coming back to the country soon!!! 🤩

Jiufen is like a lantern city, i really loves the vibes and sooo many food at the old street as well ❤❤ the accomodation is interesting eventhough kinda complicated haha no staff there? oh and i just know that Xing Fu Tang is no 1 ^^ everyday is boba tea/ milk tea day in Taiwan 😁

So true! There was definitely a charm to this village ✨ It was quite touristy but didn't disturb us to really capture the essence of it! We literally had Pearl Milk Tea every day! No joke 😍 And regarding the check-in, no comments haha, it was super weird! But also quite funny as we were being watched all the time!

Hi, there are many tourists who buy a local ticket or use the easycard and expect to take the express train. This is not allowed on the puyuma ltd exp, Taroko ltd exp and the new emu3000 tze chiang ltd exp(自強3000). If you do get on these trains with a local ticket, a penalty of the full express fare times 1.5 will be imposed. It may not be a lot but it helps to avoid the embarrassment and any potential conflicts. The easycard can be used for local and fast local. As well as chukwang exp and the old tzechiang (displayed as just 自強號 without the 3000). (However, you are not entitled to a seat on the express) Potential tourists please note! Enjoy your stay!

There’s some garlic offered at the stand of sausage, the correct way to have a Taiwanese sausage is to have one bite of sausage and of garlic, the two elements mix in the mouth taste good 😋

You should try something called 大腸包小腸(large sausage wrapped in small sausage) next time. It's like a hotdog with Taiwanese sausage except the bun is made of rice. Also the place where you had dinner are famous for their fish ball soup, but you ordered everything else except fish ball. 😅

You are right but what you don’t realise is that there is a reason why I introduce the foods first. I’m making a RU-vid video and you can clearly see I have more experience on camera and I’m more confident in my commentary. Too much complaining for an accommodation that costs US$25! This looks like an Air BNB that uses a lot of technologies to cut down on costs. If you want a manned front desk, please use a Hilton or Marriott!

We don’t need a manned front desk. The check-in instructions were non existent. We had no idea how to even enter the property before we arrived. All they said was to check in with the line app. As foreigners we don’t use the line app and Jiufen is clearly a tourist location. I downloaded the app anyway before we arrived but didn’t know we had to scan a QR code on the actual door to get check instructions. It’s completely fine to have self check in but at least communicate how it works before the guests arrive?
