4 hours in a cave? Oh my goodness. I gotta say, that sounds intense! You really had me on the edge of my seat when you slid down those rocks. I hope everyone's injuries are healed up by now. B&C really did an incredible job. They're so brave! Great job, fam!
You should try the Mulu Caves next in Sarawak, Malaysian Borneo. It has the largest cave opening and the longest cave passageway in the world. Now that is a challenge! 😊
I went to Ipoh for camp, instead of staying in hotels, as part of the camp experience, stayed in tents. The cave you went in , is the same one that I went into as part of my camp, the awesome thing is that my school, we got to travel to different countries and places. This really bought back memories of my camp
I was born & raised in Ipoh and always find the city boring growing up. However lately it seems like the city is booming. Lots of tourists coming in and there is even going to be a new bigger airport with more direct flights within the next few years. I am excited.
Wow You did it guys. Kudos Colt. I am claustrophobic but I heard you saying before you enter the cave "I wanna do it!" I am so proud of you buddy. That's a real wow. Congratulations ABC. Please take care guys. We love you!
@@AlwaysBeChanging of course I love your vlog, I love the way you guys take care and love one another and willing to explore with your fam. Take care much.
What a GREAT SCARY adventure. Colt and Brooklyn are WONDERFUL AND DID NOT COMPLAIN. Five hours inside a cave , I don’t know if I will do it . THANK YOU for sharing your EXCITING, SCARY Adventure!!!!! 😮 👏👏👏👏👏
Watching from dallas..You guys are amazing ..I enjoy watching your adventures...Im originally from the Philippines but I learned a lot about Philippines from your trips...I cant wait to go back home and visit those beautiful places ....
Hey thanks so much for replying! I just went to the cave 3 days ago as my School field trip! Watching your video the day before gave me an overview of the cave and what to expect. I really enjoyed myself there with my friends. Thanks again! Ps : we went to level/tour 3 too and all of us were soaked but it was a great experience
such a fun experience. your muscles must've been sore afterwards. i just love brooklyn's sense of humour and both their openness for adventure. ps. you mentioned you watched something about the thai cave boys and i remember the captain of the team sadly passed away here in england. he was on a football scholarship.
Wow you guys really got down and dirty for this. Awesomeness at its best!👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼 Anyway after Penang which other states are you visiting here in Malaysia? Do enjoy your remaining days here in Malaysia and do come back here again to visit other places in Malaysia like Melaka, Langkawi, Putrajaya, Sabah, even less famous states like Perlis and the east coast if you ever get the opportunity!🎉🎉🎉Cheers. -A Malaysian subscriber-
Haha we really did. And we have the bruises to prove it 🤩. After Penang we head back to KL. We only had a week for this trip. We look forward to coming back for more 🤗
3:43 Hey Phil you know that's exactly what I thought of first too at the onset of your video. Thirteen Lives was a great movie but nothing we NEVER would wanna experience of course. But sorry I had a laugh at 19:17 - you really had to say that. 😅 Always stay safe in your adventures!
husband having his tea and taking in your next adventure - 7:45 am on the West Coast - speaking of rain in the PH, My brother came to Cebu to visit us 2013 - thinking he would have some warm weather - it started raining lightly the day he arrived and every day until he left 15 days later. Never poured hard so we couldn't do anything, just a damp visit. ( hasn't been back ).
I'm going here next week with another friend and he is claustrophobic too. Came across this video and see your son able to manage it, i'm certain now my friend shall be fine too. Im still thinking whether wearing hiking sandals for this activity will be okay or not
Life's an adventurous journey. Our Mother Land is blessed with amazing adventures. Happy life always. May our Mother Earth be blessed with peace snd harmony.
Thanks Phil! My wife has been trying to get me to buy allbirds! Now I know it works for travel and spelunking haha. Is it the waterproof one? PS, She wears Allbirds I wear ONs. haha :) Also, Brooklyn and Colt!!! So brave!!! Edit: oh, never mind I saw the Allbirds link! thank you!
23:34 BROOKLYN i adore your humor girl !!😂😂😂😂 I would love to be doing outdoor stuff with you and that sick sly humor. 😅😅😅 5 hours in a cave I can't imagine when I only have tried 2 hours in a wet dark cave crawling, bruised like you -- the days of pain and sore that followed plus soiled useless underwear thereafter.. made me say would not do it again i promise....good job Lockwoods. Core memories for the kids esp since Colt is claustrophobic...but nailed it.
And Sir Phil....I watched and followed the news on Thai Cave rescue when it happened watched it daily as it unfolded 2 weeks I think. That is sooo awesome, active cave footage.... your camera gear should sponsor you!!!
She has a funny side and a dark side, sometimes they mix 😆 😂. I don’t think Phil or I would have lasted another minute but the kids could have kept going 🤯
# 2 so obviously this trip is for young-er family's - I have colts problem although I did not see real tight places. When my mind starts to panic is when I am so tight I can not move my arms or turn around. The cold water could be a problem for some. ( i think the tour operators should at least have some small reflectors on the cave wall that a person could follow so YOU WILL NOT GET LOST. Maybe get an O - Light, really light up the cave. My boot camp obstacle course wasn't too bad. A little dirty, wet, tear gas for a few seconds, I lived - .
It was clear how much easier it was for the kids than Phil and I. We were absolutely exhausted by the end and they probably could have gone a few more hours.
We were wondering the same thing… Probably took many people over many years to fully explore. Plus, I’m sure it was a whole different experience before they added all of the stairs and handrails!
Erin you’re so wonderful and delightful to watch. …of course you guys are as a family but no matters what’s circumstances and challenges you faced in. You always find excitement and joy in every adventures you do. Fine character at its best. I love you❤ your family.
This is something that I would totally do! I would have never thought. Thank you! Is it hotter than The Philippines and Thailand? I went to Thailand not to long ago and people have said Malaysia is way hotter than both countries because its closer to the equator.....
Advice to myself if I ever go to cave adventure like this - wear jogger pants, long sleeves 👕, face mask 😷, glasses 🤓, head lamp, nitrile 🧤, water bottle, and plastic bag.
Since we’re still just visitors to both countries, it’s hard for us to say. We haven’t had to deal with ownership rights, taxes, visas, etc. I do have friends who have moved to 🇵🇭 and it seems to be a great choice 👍🏼
@AlwaysBeChanging that's right, still too early to say. But I might say that condominiums in Malaysia are way better and cheaper than BGC. Infrastructure, especially the traffic is more convenient and more developed. And lastly, less people, less trash.
In Negros Oriental has also it takes less than a day. And not touristy like there. And its natural one. Not from mining cave. its located Mabinay Town. NEGROS ORIENTAL. THERE IS REALLY Challenging.
Yes. There were a lot of people in our group. But I still think it typically takes 4 hours. We were a little confused on some communication before we went and thought it was and hour and a half so we didn’t bring any food or snacks. 🫤
🤦♀️ didn’t even get it right with two tries. 😊 our guide actually told us it was coconut fruit but maybe there was some confusion over the right word translation.
