this was hurricane beryl. it was a traumatizing experience for me because I had to drive home in the storm at 4 AM in the morning and almost flooded my car out. It rained nonstop for almost 24 hours and it was heavy rain mixed with heavy winds. It was so bad to wear peoples power was out. Powerlines fell trees fell peoples cars, and ditches and ponds and people dying. thankfully, the new apartment I stay in power did not go out the whole entire storm. I made sure as soon as I got home I cooked that way I would have food throughout the rest of the day. It was so bad to wear my car was covered in mud and was brown all over the place . It was about 4 to 6 inches of rain and it was so flooded late at night to where you couldn't even see the road. I never drove while it was flooding or during a hurricane before and this traumatized me to the point where I will never do that again. Lesson learned.
