Glad to see bodysurfer that observes the type of waves ( ie-- how they break ) I'm 66 years old and have been bodysurfing since age 10 where I accidentally learned how to truly bodysurf in the North Carolina coastline. The waves being caught are what I call " sliders " in that instead of just building up and slamming down ( I call these " slammers " ), they build up and sort of slide from the top down and are the best waves for body surfing ( at least in my area ). I loved watching Kalani on these waves. I have seen often where supposedly bodysurfer is catching a large wave but turns out to be a " slammer " and all they do is "crash " not surf. Nice bodysurfing for sure !!!! Be safe and have fun and thanks for sharing this video!!!
