I can try to help with #2 in how I've learned to apply it in my life because I was unsure as well. I've recognized I have to watch my thoughts closely and not let the enemy plant seeds of doubt or anything that will produce something that doesn't line up with the fruits of the spirit. I believe that surrendering is not allowing emotions to take over. So an example, when I have a thought that is about the future and gives me anxiety, I recognize it. Hold that thought captive and pray for God to take this from me by saying "God, I cannot handle this or God I do not want to worry about this so I'm giving it to you to take over" and laying it down at His feet and knowing in my heart that God is always going to do what is best for me and I truly don't have to worry. Sometimes, you have to really pray through it and let him know you're scared or worried. Often, the thoughts come up again, but I've noticed it's much easier now that I have done it many times. Also, don't try to fix the problem yourself without seeking what God wants first. It gives me a great sense of peace and I trust God to take care of it 😊 I hope that may help you.
@blame_ash thank you for this. I am reading this after my evening prayer/devotional time, and tonight, I voiced aloud what I was afraid of and concerned about. It felt strange at first, but as I continued praying, I felt just a tad bit lighter. I will take that to the next level by doing what you suggested: in the MOMENT of fear, doubt, anxiety, pray to GOD right then...pray for him to handle it/take it/fix it and be honest about the feelings.
I absolutely love watching Pastor Jerry Flowers and all the anointed speakers who share God’s message. This blessed me just like all the other messages. May God’s hand continue to be on the house of Pastor Jerry family and all the pastors who preacher there. Amen

Amazing sermon that was right on time. Our survival is not tied to what we hold on to, but what we are willing to let go of for God to take control. Like Jesus said, if you hold on to you life, you will lose it; but if you give up your life for my sake, you will find it.

😮Yes. It reminds me of that movie named the final say. Pastor Evans mentioned a specific word in this message. A secular movie is titled after that word that he mentioned. God used that movie to give me a word pertaining to me back in 2021, if I am not mistaken. GOD chooses to show Himself to us over, over, over, over, over, over, over, over, and over again in more ways than one. I believe that HE used him to give me a form of confirmation about 3 years later. There are countless of ways that God proves HIS existence to us, if we choose to receive them and acknowledge them as such. That is why it is imperative that we ask God to open our spiritual eyes and ears in Jesus' name.

Women, please listen at 14:00. stop being bitter if the relationship has ended and stop a Father from being involved. Post divorce I wasn't about to shoulder our kids alone. I needed my alone time too. He still picked up and dropped off, took time off whne they were sick etc. Gotta focus on the kids not your hurt feelings. Many of us got married in sin and were fornicating so we create these narratives then mad when it implodes. Also don't dare talk about a parent to the child.
There’s one thing he said that’s not true, God IS the only one who blesses. Satan steals your blessing first then makes a deal with you and charges you for a blessing that was free. Remember it says in the bible that “Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above, coming down from the Father of lights with whom there is no variation or shadow due to change.” James 1:17. This is why we should read the word for ourselves. This is the deception of Satan. Satan is still just an angel that fell from Grace. Let’s not him god number 2.

Maybe I can help clarify what I believe your going on, he doesn't bless us💯 but he does present what looks like blessings, he's a deceiver&tries to be slick that's why we must apply full wisdom with every step. Is it making him a 2nd god by being aware of the ways of the enemy. No evil will prosper against you if you stay faithful not to say it won't come.
@@infinithyphywifeyjones7263 very true about authority. But it’s commonly misunderstood what really happened when Jesus was being tempted. At that point satan knew who Jesus was based on what had been manifesting and decreed in the heavens (remember the book of Job, satan visits the heavens too), satan also understood that after the fast of Jesus Christ if He was successful, it would seal his purpose. satan doesn’t care about the riches he sees the bigger picture, purpose. So he started with what caused the fall of Adam and Eve. (Another pointer Adam and Eve weren’t tempted until the purpose of Adam was revealed and about to be fulfilled, with Eve. The purpose to be fruitful and multiply that’s why he tempted them at that time.) it’s all about timing, so with pride first but Jesus was too humble for that, then he tempted Jesus with spiritual power, then finally tried to give him the riches of the world and all of the kingdoms of the world. Ok let’s start with pride, Jesus owns all the Glory, how about spiritual power, He also has rein over all the powers and principalities and angels and ultimately the kingdom of heaven. Then let’s look at riches and the kingdoms on earth. SATAN OFFERED EVERYTHING JESUS ALREADY RIGHTFULLY OWNED BECAUSE OF WHO HE WAS!!! In fact satan even discounted everything Jesus was to become. That is still what satan does to date cause he doesn’t have any new ideas. Hence my point satan doesn’t bless he just doesn’t fight you for everything that ALREADY RIGHTFULLY BELONGS TO YOU at a discount and with a deal that makes you compromise your purpose. If Jesus had bowed down to him he would’ve never fulfilled the purpose of saving the world! Based on how great your purpose is the offer satan gives is always greater, it’s a deception. From birth your blessings are sealed, it’s demonic contracts (bloodline curse, alters, etc) that keep you away from it. satan can’t bless, He’s not God
