Triggers can come upon us in surprising ways. You sound like you are doing the best that you can and learning ways to cope. My husband passed away almost 1 year ago. Christmas was nice butI had a nightmare when I went to bed so today feeling off and down.. You are right when you say only those who have experienced grief truly understand what that is like. Hi, that s a phenomenal video . I am a kindred mom as you , but my mom was murdered for gain and son died in a bike accident with 8 yrs gap between the two tragedies. My so was a very tall gentleman of 19 . I am coping healthy for 6 yrs since his death. As u said, i was flooded with similar emotions n cried my heart out when I happened to hug my friend s son on his b day ,as he was as tall n gentle as my son. Just the feel of the broad chest evoked torrential tears. I shared with my friend immediately.

My sadness was so off the top My son-in-law who doesn’t like me s little bit Disrespected as soon as he came in the door . I’m in a depression that I haven’t had at all in five years sence my husband passed . 🙏ing my way thew this .

Pardon me for saying this, but you should not have to deal with a disrespectful son.in-law, let alone in your own home! He thinks he can get away with this bad behavior because no one has challenged him? Can you speak with your daughter about this! You deserve better! Wishing you a blessed 2024.
