same. best tent i ever had was a 5 dollar (on sale) dicks sporting goods tent. took it on multiple day double digit mountain treks. just bring a good rain tarp!
If you do it regularly you need quality gear as eventually you're going to be in bad weather. And for some reason the places you go camping usually dont get alot of rain just real nasty storms that come from nowhere. We've had times where it was sunny all day and from the time it went dark to 8pm a nasty storm has brewed and is under way. Rural australia is pretty nasty.
Yes I totally agree, I have done a lot of camping over the years and I have been in high winds and rain, also snow, but even then, I have done it all with that Kmart tent, the better quality tents are only a tiny spec better. Me and a mate were at seaman's hut up near the top of Kosciusko mountain and he had a $500 Nemo tent and the wind was pushing both out tents down onto our faces in the gusts, we couldn't believe how well the Kmart tent held up
Dude put up his sheet hammock... wife and I looked at each other n pissed ourselves (we hammock camp). Both yelling out “omg that dudes gonna freaking FREEZE!!!” Great video mate, subscribed.
awesome video !!! loved this ! gotta do more challenges , different prices at different shops hahaha! btw where is that camp spot ? Would love to head there !!!!
Wait that looks exactly like my Kmart but doesn’t look like the one I was in in Melbourne 😅🇦🇺 funny how they said the duck taped one will stall on but it didn’t 😂😂😂😂😂😂
how good is k mart for gear and cooking stuff, vinnies wanted more for some stuff we looked at, those 12 dollar tents are great we use the poles for boat cover supports, kangaroo tent city wanted 30 bucks for a set of poles, maybe thats why they went broke. enjoyable video
