No, I knew it was hotter than it ever gets and an exaggeration because some of us Americans have lived abroad, so I actually know some measurements like grams better than I know ounces.

Explain how the glaciers are all melting at an extremely rapid pace, or how countries like Germany nowadays consistently experience year after year much hotter summers with much longer heatwaves compared to 20-30 years ago. No, natural cycles do not happen within a few decades, they are far slower than that.

It's not bad to use resources responsibly. It's being wasteful like mass producing a new iPhone every year with small unnecessary tweaks so they can increase their profits. Mass production, hungry corporations, and planned obsolescence are the things responsible for the most waste and energy consumption. Our method to make ice has changed very little over the decades like our method to wash clothes or produce electricity. So why do we need 1,000's of variations of the same products that break every few years instead of making those products with more durable parts to last years? Of course it's so companies can make more money. So it's not that we use energy to freeze water into ice, it's that we reproduce the same product hundreds of thousands of times in a factory like refrigerators or ice makers to create the newest model.
