You definitely making cry right now, specially when you said you have kids. Yes, I’m going through chemo and immunotherapy and I’m very sick, between nausea and joint pain plus tiredness I feel like I’m dying. So glad you have the help you need, because this is a long journey, we’re fighting this battle. I’m 63, cancer for the third time. Have Lynch syndrome which allows me to have different type of cancers. Had colon cancer, ten two years ago, endometria, that came back again in April of 2024. Hang in there, you’re young and have a lot to live for. Everyone fighting this horrible decease, are on my prayers. It’s not easy but if you love live we’ll keep fighting. We’re in the hands of God!
We see the world through new eyes. Yep God placed us here in Houston so I’d get the best possible care. He’s carried me so many times. They did that with us too. Dinners, the laundry, play dates God sends his angels
About to start my treatment next week for HER2+ including lymph nodes on the right. I'm so glad I have found your channel. Praying for strength and healing on your journey. 🙏❤
I just found your channel! I can relate to you so much! I don’t have breast cancer but i was diagnosed in August of last year with Non Hodgkin’s Lymphoma. I had 6 rounds of intensive chemotherapy! I was hospitalized for 5 days of continuous chemo every 21 days! I finished my treatment at the end of January. I was also 41 at diagnosis and now I’m 42. I also have 3 young kids (6,5 and 3). I’m also a believer! I too had so much support and encouragement from friends and family! I was down in the beginning but i did keep a mostly positive mindset during treatment! Listening to a lot of worship music helped! My tip would be to find something fun you can do while you are getting the chemo. Mine was 5 days so i had a lot of time without my kids to stay occupied! I did flower legos and found out i love doing diamond art so i did one every round and made diamond art ornaments at Christmas for all the nurses! Praying for you as you fight the good fight!
Hi Rebecca, just thought I’d mention a RU-vid channel that you may find interesting as she has gone through the same treatment as yourself. The channel is called Yarn Lab she’s really informative and I think you would find her videos a great help. Sending prayers and positive healing energy your way 🩷
Thank you for the prayers and positive energy!! And, yes!!! I have also watched Yarn Lab as well. Hearing stories from other ladies has been so helpful to me. Thank you for the suggestion!❤
Hi Rebecca… I was 36 when I was dx with ducal in citu grade 1… I had one radiation ☢️ treatment before my BRCA 1&2 results came back. Doc wanted a baseline due to # of family members who’ve passed from b ca. I had BRCA 2. Estrogen driven. Don’t stop for parking go directly to the OR. I’m listening to your story & had to comment. After my 18hr (all female parts removed) surgery I threw a pulmonary embolism. I felt as thought I had to show everyone I was ok so they wouldn’t worry. My hb my parents, our family out of town. I’m wondering if they’ve asked if you struggle with depression or anything. I do & I wish I would have been asked. Plz feel every feeling as it comes. Honor your feelings because each diagnosis is different. Try not to do what I did and that was to bottle it all up. I’m 51 now & Im still frozen in fear. If you start to feel overwhelmed by it all be sure to ask for your mental health check as well. ❤ Our kinder kiddo is now 19. Just put one foot in front don’t look too far ahead or behind. Stay in the second. Yep it sucks & we can b grateful at the same time. 2 things can b true at once. You aren’t alone!! My hot words are “survivor & color pink & November” My ptsd doesn’t feel I’ve suffered enough to be called. “Survivor.” Sending you all my prayers God bless ❤
I have done a year of chemo and immunotherapy and I will be doing it for the rest of my life for my stage 4 lung cancer, you can get through it through the grace of God.
