I’m late to the party but I’m proud of myself getting this boot correctly now a 3*-1 boot is what I expected with Lauren not banking her vote and actually predicting that Matt plays his shot in the dark so he doesn’t show his allegiance! Still crazy though

My face was just like Jeanine's reaction to Jesse revealing her idol. The first time the Shot-in-the-dark had two players use it and one even being successful. I'm rooting for Lauren, Matthew G., and Brandon at the moment.

Issue is she told them what the advantage was, and Matthew is already on her tail

Actually in her interview with Rob Cesternino she revealed Jaime was in danger of being eliminated for lacking strength in challenges, at least that's what I got as the reason. Also... what is the M curse? Both Mikes, Michelle and Maryanne have won seasons. Is it a first-out thing?

If you look in seasons past, plenty of women who start with the letter M are out first from their tribe. It really only works on women, unfortunately. The only two M women winners, Michele and Maryanne have a good reason because Michele never attended a pre-merge tribal, and Maryanne had Marya take the fall for her. But… thanks for the information. The edit didn’t really show that and it just made it seem like Jaime was paranoid for no reason

Morgan from Cagayan was the definition of first boot material, yet still made it into pre-merge.

I mean two people played it so that increases the odds right off the bat. Also the sample size of Shots in the Dark is now up to 8, and the odds of that sample size _not_ containing a successful Shot in the Dark is less than 1 in 4.

i agree with you this will go down in history as one of the best tribals survivor has ever seen

He really didn’t lol, if Jamie and Matt weren’t so paranoid Brandon goes solely bc Maddy outplays him. He just got lucky with and Matthew being incompetent. (Not to say this wasn’t a good move for his game, but he just got severely lucky and basically had to do nothing)

@@od2152 I mean you have a point, but on a 6 person tribe, with public knowledge about his idol, plus him being the biggest physical guy they have, gunning for Brandon in the first place wasn't exactly the smartest move.

Agree, she was being such a drama queen. Here’s how I took it; so Maddy wants to work with Brandon to keep the idol a secret. But Brandon tells everyone he has the idol. So Maddy taking it personally is like “Oh, Brandon doesn’t want to work me with, he must think I’m trash. I’m gonna make everyone think he’s trash.” It’s like; Well Maddy, maybe the reason Brandon doesn’t want to “partner” with you is because you all literally just met a day ago. He doesn’t know you, Maddy, for all he knows, you could tell everyone Brandon has the idol and everyone would be like “Why didn’t you tell us, Brandon? You’re untrustworthy!”

Maybe Carson could win…but only time will tell
