This was an amazing blindside and John took it look a champ. This season has definitely been a step up from what we've usually being getting

ONE OF THE MOST LEGENDARY VOTES EVER. This is genuinely one of the best moves I've ever seen. This tribal has cemented itself as one of the best in a while. Moments like this are what remind me that Survivor is simply the world's greatest game.

This season is definitely top-tier. Hands down! Im so impressed by Davie and Nick! Thank God Christian and Angelina (YET AGAIN) survived. John has so much class, he was awesome.

This is the efinition of a perfect blindside and huge W for the Davids 1.Nick made sure Davie knew Christian was in trouble, Davie saved him with his Idol 2.Nick knew there will be another idol played 3.Nick SPLIT 4 votes against like 6 ensuring that an idol gets flushed, they don't have to go to rocks and a Goliath goes home 4.Jon appreciates this move for how good it was, take it like a champ and doesn't get bitter by the time of final tribal council

I can't express how perfect this tribal is. Between the davids correctly playing the idol, a minority splitting the vote, and how incredibly john was when we was eliminated. John was my favorite goliath and I hope to see him back because he was such a sweetheart.

Easily one of the best tribal councils in the history of survivor. The amount of strategy in play in this tribal council and the underdogs completely destroying the overdogs was incredible

Once the music dropped after the second Angelina vote, I knew it would be a different Goliath. I was personally expecting it to be Mike because he was the one that crafted the plan

I thought John would go far but I didn't root for him. Seeing his reaction to the council result just showed how good he handled the situation but at the same time showed how meaningful the game to him. Bravo John... Hope u will come back in future season.

It is survivor moments like this that make me love the game. Not only were the castaways blindsided but so were we. We had no idea that some of the David’s were going to vote for John because we thought that Angelina was going to get all the votes but we were wrong

Awesome idol plays, awesome blindside, awesome music, awesome storyline, this tribal council is absolutely amazing!

I really liked John he was really cool and funny. This was an awesome blindside though and it was a very smart move my Davie, Carl and Nick to vote for John

big up the editors for not showing any signs of john being targeted, this is my first season of watching week in week out so i’m not sure if that’s how blindsides are usually set up (it isn’t in the AU version) but if so then i will definitely watch every episode until the series ends because you never know what might happen at tribal and i like that

I’ve recently gotten into Survivor and this was my first season off my recommendations and boy, it was great.

Every time I rewatch this I fall in love with David vs. Goliath all over again!

Far and away, my single favourite survivor moment of all time. I remember jumping out of my seat after realizing what had happened. Absolutely wild.

For me, this is one of the greatest vote in Survivor, finally someone done move to flash idol, use correctly idol and blindside the leader of the other alliance.

I stopped watching Survivor in the middle of Nicaragua cause it was such a huge letdown after HVV. I felt like HVV was the peak of the show and nothing could ever top that, so when Nicaragua didn’t even come close to being good, that was it for me. Since then I’ve only watched clips of each season on this channel and I’ve had mixed feelings about the changes in dynamic(music, jury decisions, Cirie being robbed and utterly humiliated for the 4th time!) But when I was recently flipping through channels and came across the first episode of DVG, I was immediately impressed and decided to give the show another chance. So far I haven’t been disappointed and moments like this one reminded me of why I used to love this show so much! DVG has restored my faith in the show and I can’t wait to see what’s in store for the remaining castaways and seasons to come!

I liked how they egged Dan on to play his idol when John would've gone home anyways and then he gets fucked over next episode XD

THIS SEASON IS THE BEST!!! I can't wait for the Ido Nullifier to be played and I hope Alec makes to the top 3!

Depending on how the rest of this season plays out, this tribal has the potential to be the turning point that the David's need to flip the script on the Goliaths. I loved Davie's brilliance at playing the idol on the right person and then for the rest of the Davids to have the added intelligence of splitting their vote between John and Angelina, making sure that one of them is eliminated. I think we've only seen the tip of the iceberg though. Next tribal will be epic as well because now Nick can play his steal a vote and give the David's the majority if they stick together and target the right person. After that, I'm waiting for what I predict will be the biggest moment of the season, when Carl finally plays that nullifier....on an unsuspecting DAN who plays his remaining idol on himself!

Im just waiting for the secret scene for nick, Christian, and Davie saying to vote off john

Man oh man I love you Davie ^^ And John's name came completely out of left field!!! Though seeing it was Christan, Nick and Davie who voted for him makes wanna see them in the final 3 :D Though you gotta love how Alec screwed the Goliaths by spilling the beans to NIck, which led to Nick telling Davie, which then led to Davie's idol play. I was bitterly thinking this was going to be an uneventful and predictable tribal, so I couldn't be happier with this result (Maybe more if it was Angelina who got the boot)

That Tribal was insane. I didn't see John's name coming up. Maybe he talked about him being a threat off screen.

Ayo, I noticed that 1. Nick acts shocked when Davie plays the idol(or at least pulls it out time: 1:14 2. Davie nods his head when Dan stands up to play his idol on Angelina Time: 2:08 3. Nick acts more when the votes are read(when Angelina's names come up) time: 3:30 and finally 4. Nick, Davie, and Carl fistbump when the last vote for John is read. time: 3:56 Damn Davids, they not only blindsided a goliath but also acted their ass off to make it more entertaining. Epic tribal and Nick and Davie are definitely the mvps.

Episode 7 and 8 had to be the greatest episodes ever on survivor
