With Taj, you could see when Jeff mentioned the sacrafice, that she would have done it for them but as soon as she was told her hubby could be with her in exile... aint no question what she was gonna do. that's a deep down good person.
I love how Tahj grabbed onto Jeff’s bicep and shaking him when she finally reflected on the last line her husband said. I really commend her for her sacrifice so others can see their families BEFORE she learned that her husband will be with her in exile island. That scene was epic.
Me too!! I was always surprised she made it as far as she did because she revealed almost immediately that she was married to Eddie George. But to know that she’s married to a multi millionaire and not get voted off right away is always a good feat IMO
These always make me think of how love is so abstract- we don't understand it and sometimes we forget that we feel it. But when in a situation like the game of Survivor, stripped of absolutely every comfort- we know that love is real, powerful, and more important to survival than anything else.
I was wondering the same thing lol. Maybe it’s because he’s a physics teacher and there’s some trick he learned? Or maybe he just knows how to tie a good knot lol
Taj's moment with the loved one visit with the family was the best, Why because she was going to make the sacrifice no matter what and she did that is a great person and legend!
Rupert’s wife Laura is the sweetest person. I was on a fan page and talking about losing weight and doing some of the Survivor things like swimming and getting stuff from the bottom of the pool. She was so encouraging. A genuinely nice person. Also met a few survivors: Mike Holloway, Stephen Fishbach and Rob Cesternino. They are incredibly nice. Shane’s loved one visit is my favorite. He talked about Boston the WHOLE season. Fairplay’s grandma looked healthy enough to PLAY survivor. He had us thinking she was an old lady. Loved Taj!!!
Whenever I need a laugh, I watch Lisa's towards the end. The flip of a switch hysterics, the "Sister, sister!" thing, her basically dry heaving in his arms. I get that it's emotional, but holy hell, I can't look away.
Sandra and her uncle looked like they had a really close bond. That’s the most emotional I’ve seen her get on survivor and he seems like a really cool uncle.
I love Taj and the sacrifice that she made to go to Exile Island and she got to have the other people see their loved ones and she got to see hers as well that is so awesome!!! ❤ 😍 💖
I just got to this part on Season 18/Tocantins and I couldn’t stop sobbing the entire time from the auction part where everyone was so selfless to when everyone was reunited 😢❤️
The most emotional Survivor loved ones visit was Adam. His mom had stage 4 cancer when he joined Survivor Millenial vs Gen X. His mom was a big fan of survivor and they wanted to be in Blood vs Water but it did not push through. Adam eventually won the his Season.
I'm so glad Laura B actually got to play later on. She was one of my faves from BvW. Taj's was amazing. That was an incredible roller coaster. I so want her to return, but she's probably too famous. People give Lisa a hard time for hers because of the whole, "SISTER! SISTER!" thing, but I loved hers. Lisa's such a sweetheart.
Oh man the one with the little boy...as a parent I can't imagine seeing your child after so long. The longest I've been away from my kids is maybe two nights when they are at a sleep over lol.
One of my favorite parts of the show. Thanks for doing this. :) Mike: Not super emotional but a very sweet moment with his mom. :) Helen: Definitely a classic, Helen's reactions are priceless. :)

One I liked that I didn't see, (then again maybe I skipped over it), from the Cook Islands, after Parvati narrowly won over Jonathon, she selected him to go to Exile Island, and Jonathon though first went to his wife to hug goodbye, and Jeff casually said; "Jonathon not going to ask, he's getting a hug goodbye" and you could see Probst just standing there, (even smiled a bit). That was one of my favorite moments from loved ones.
Its funny how all of these are so heartwarming and then when get the Jonny FairPlay my grandma died just for some comic relief I don’t care that moment was hilarious
I don't think I could last even 2 days on Survivor, but when they have the loved ones visit, two things always come to mind for me. First of all I think it is cruel to have the loved ones fly for maybe up to 14+ hours all the way to Fiji to only see their loved one for 5 minutes. Next is that I am not sure that I have anyone in my life that I would get so emotional being away from them for less than a month. Am I made of stone or does this say something about the relationships I have?
