The funny thing that Sean told everyone about this. So it was so easy for Tagi to just follow his vote. (By pure luck, most of the early alphabet names were Pagong. Rich, Rudy, Sean, Sue...) lol
It was so surreal watching this when it aired. Just the slow transition where the number of players got gradually smaller, and the number of jury members were getting bigger. So much fun.
ROTFL.. People didnt know what to do when they were eliminated, they didnt even know when they were eliminated (jeff had to point that out), Jeff looked so akward snuffing the torches
I still remember watching this 1st season when I was in 4th year high school way back 2000 on Studio 23 here in the Philippines until now I am still a fan of this show. RIP BB 😭
Greg being voted off was my favorite with the fake crying. Always will be known as the first ever jury member and the first ever winner of individual immunity. He said in interviews he always planned on voting for Rich he just made them pick numbers to make fun of the game. He was the only ex Pagong member to vote for him over Kelly which was the swing vote.
I believe the issue was that production intervened because Rude was the last older player left (Sonja and BB were the first 2 gone) So CBS paid a settlement which included her nopt being able to talk about it which basically confirms that production got people to flip to keep rudy in the game
Survivor Borneo is the best season, hands down!!! Other seasons won't top the first. I remember back when it first premiered and Pagong was my favorite tribe because they were fun to watch and that I can relate too. I remembered I cried when Gervase was voted off because he was my favorite and especially Colleen elimination. I'm glad that Richard won over Kelly because I used to envy her.. My other favourites were: Marquesas, Pearl Islands, Australia, Vanaratu and Second Chance.
I’m only up to season 10 now but Borneo is my favorite. It’s the only season so far where I actually like all the castaways. Other seasons always have those 2 or 3 that just get on my nerves.
Although the Pagong Tribe dissapeared during the merge, as a "team" they were better than Tagi: -They faced 11 challenges, of which Pagong won 6, although only 5 of those were aired (as during the filming of the second episode there was an unaired reward challenge in which Richard and Joel faced each other, with Joel winning). -All 8 members of the Pagong tribe won something at some time, while from the Tagi Tribe only won 7 people (all except Sonja, who was voted out before the first victory of the tribe).
He was asked back for season 31 and wanted to accept the offer, but had to turn down due to getting a new job & not wanting to mess up his employment :) He also has apparently said he wants to return
Me too it's so much better. They should mix up the tribal music more often, play this during tribals that are particularly emotional or hit closer to home.
A question was asked on All Stars who voted off people alphabetically which got a smirk from Jenna Lewis. Actually all ex Pagong members came first alphabetically and the last two alphabetically were Sean and Sue.
I'm the onlyone who noticed that when Collen had her torch snufled there was absolutely no music, nothing apart of the sound of the jungle? Has that happened with other ?? I don't remember
Just rewatched the season and it felt magical, I miss this Survivor ☹️ Rankings: Sue Richard Colleen Greg Jenna Kelly Rudy Sean Gervase Stacey Ramona Sonja Joel Gretchen BB Dirk
