This was the season that got me back into Survivor, loved Russell at first but eventually realized he actually fails at the entire concept of the game. Social survival is what keeps us alive
@Timmy Turner Mick might have won that Final 3 actually. His best Final 3 of all would be Shambo and Ben, but any combination of Ben, Shambo, Jaison, Fincher he probably wins.
Maybe they were going back to basics with seasons 18-20 but with idols and exile on 18. The only time I remember they deliberately did not let a swap happen was in Palau because Ulong was obviously getting decimated.
Also, the proof of Hantz having no skills to be likeable by the jury is the fact that he came back to play on the next season with an entirely different cast of contestants and by the end of that season, the result was exactly the same: none of the jury members liked him and none of them give him their vote either.
Natalie was not a dumbass girl, and she was not just there. She was fully aware of her position and her situation every step of the way. She understood the game from beginning to end.
Is this the first time they didn't use the traditional elimination music, outside of the Matty elimination? Kelly, Monica, and Brett use the modern theme.
Thunder64 I think the only times the music has changed is during events that are not vote outs such as Fire making challenges and quits. I know Palau, Panama, Cook Islands and Gabon are like that
Had Brett won the final immunity, he most likely wouldve been a perfect winner. All of the galus, jaison, and Mick wouldve voted for him over Russell and Natalie
3:51 "IM GONNA LEAVE YOU ALONE AND STOP TALKING" I wish jeff would stop talking in challenges. if i were competing on survivor i would scream for him to stfu
LOL....@3:51 I hear Jeff say the magic words...."I'm gonna STOP TALKING"....wish he would during competitions ....and STOP stirring the Pot in tribal council...if I was playing I'd end up getting in his grill and ask him if he's got an Immunity Idol...cause he needs one now!
@@albennator4421 Not all seasons have tribe swaps; say Tocantins, the previous season, and Heroes vs Villains, the next one, did not have tribe swaps either.
@@slimbish605 yep, for the most part I respect Russell's strategic game, it's just his damn social game aka jury management that he sucks ass at. He could've done better and made some better calls to end up winning instead of using his own merits to vote out people and still expect their votes. It's for the better that Russell has never won Survivor, he changed the game for the better (and entertainment) but also showed how to horribly fuck it up.
@@mattlericain I mean the social aspect is a big part of the game of survivor. The twist of survivor is convincing people you betrayed to vote for you to win. Russell talked down to people and was arrogant as hell. He did the same thing in hero's vs villains. He plays to get to the finale but not to win.
how can you not stand kelly lol she did nothing i still love her cuz she’s my survivor crush and she’s good at the game but idk how she can be unlikeable with how little screen time she got
Swear that when there like 10-12 people they should of have voted Russell H.out...out of all of the Survivor seasons this one had some of the dumbest people in it ( besides Russell H)..Shambo and the older gentleman were the dumbest..

While I do think Russell should have won, alot of it does come down to a social element, which Natalie dominated on. She was very well liked and managed to sneak through on both sides.
