I can't believe his voice was still amazing in his 60's! He sang the whole song. Wow, Jimmy, God bless you in Heaven! I stand in awe before your talent. I'd love to meet a man like you. You seemed so down to earth and serious.
I have been a Survivor fan since 1984. Got me thru my teenage years and high school!. What an amazing voice, even in his 60's💙. Sounds like the original!!. R.I.P Jimi💙. U r still missed after almost 7 years!!.❤
I was in Detroit on the riverfront watching survivor last night. I was anxious to see Jimi I didn’t know he passed away. He was an incredible singer I just loved his look and his voice

I will never forget about how AWESOME of a Frontman, Jimi Jamison was. I have been a fan of Survivor since Elementary School (second grade in 1984, even as early as Kindergarten when Dave Bickler was fronting Survivor) and Survivor to me was the PERFECT EXAMPLE of QUALITY 80's Rock. I was extremely sad to hear about Jimi's passing. My sincere condolences go out to his Family, Friends, and Fans. His voice was PERFECT in every way and Jimi was 120% cut out for the Music Industry:-) Jimi, I miss you very much and I want to be a (Rock) singer myself one day (for an Alternative/Indie Rock Band). Your natural talent will ALWAYS BE REMEMBERED. R.I.P. Jimi, your LEGACY WILL LIVE ON.
I agree Daniel good call. They represent pure 80's rock. Fun Catchy Upbeat and feel good music. Look at the 90's all the great ones Dead of overdose or suicide or combo. Layne Staley, Cobain, Weiland, Cornell, Shannon Hoon of Blind Melon. That darkness in music creeps into your life. Music is supposed to be fun. Having people love your talent is supposed to be fun and a gift. Don't turn it dark.

One of my all-time favorite songs is still "High On You" and has been since the first time I heard it. I immediately became a lifelong fan of the band and many of their songs are on my "Favorites" list. I am deeply saddened by the passing of Jimi Jamison, and also the realization that I will never see them live in concert again.The incredible and seemingly endless energy, genuine emotion, and amazing talents of Jimi and the other band members expressed in their live performances was inspiring and contagious. I could have listened to them live in concert for hours without ever tiring of their music, as most of their songs were highly motivating. The end of their concerts always left me wanting more. Rest in peace Jimi....you will be forever missed and always remembered as one of the best and most talented performers of all time!!!

He sounds exactly the same as he did in the 80's His voice has not changed at all, not one note!! 💖 Jimmi sounded the same live as he did on the radio. More so than that, he was very down to earth. Nothing uppity about Jimmi. He loved being common, and interacting with fans. Just a really great guy. " SURVIVOR " forever! Rock in piece Jimmi.....💖🌹🌹💖
Life is so precious! Who knew he would be gone a little over a month from then! He had an amazing voice and I was looking forward to seeing them in a few weeks. It will never be the same! :(
That is so tragic--u were so close! I am seriously heartbroken he's gone and that I didn't realize his raw talent until now. I don't like concerts, but he is one I would have traveled to go see. It is just such a travesty.

Died less than 2 months after this… such a talent and deserves much greater status and name recognition amongst the conversation of best singers from the 80s.
Watching them makes my heart so happy and I hope that I will age like them, still full of life love and joy. Life is an incredible journey and I hope that we all have a good one while we're still here. Life and experiences like rock'n roll are priceless.
Was this group ever inducted into the Rock n Roll hall of fame? If not they should be, so many awesome compositions and the lead singer whew he could always sing.
Was this Jimi last live performance? If it was he was still so sexy and gorgeous even to the end 😍😍😍. His voice never failed him he was a hell of legend and still rocken it out to the very end. Jimi you can never be replaced or duplicate. Your voice will soar into the rock and roll hall of fame l just know it. If ever anyone deserves to be there it's you and the survivor band. It was the last show in the Chicago area. But not his last he would pass Sept 1st 2014.....Jamison's last show was on August 30, 2014, in Morgan Hill, California.
Man you could still sing it. I never got to see you in person but I have always been a huge, huge, fan of yours and the group. You will forever hold a place in my heart. With the deepest respect. :)
Survivor would have not survived without Jimi's incredible voices and stage presence. Some people just got it and some people don't. He treated me very well and always delivered. The first time I heard him in Target I thought...well I am witnessing a real vocal star. I wish he was still here...miss you and know We will meet again in the heavens! Godbless the best singer ever I had tge privilege to hang with when he had the time! Thankyou so much for great memories Jimi.
