For me, Palau is easily the most interesting season of survivor. Heroic main character in Tom, a giant underdog story in Steph, a great sidekick in Ian, a captivating anti-villain in Coby, James provided comic relief, Willard being the hidden immunity idol, etc. I think everyone on this show was interesting this season.
I know Wanda's in her mid-60s, but c'mon. I'm sure she has the same spunk and energy she had at the beginning of this season. She needs her second chance. :( I don't think Jonathan cared as much, but eh. He should come back too for a fair stab at Survivor.
And both of them had to go through the interviewing stage of flying back and forth for the interviews and when they found out that they did get in the show they only lasted 24 hours.
I read somewhere that apparently Wanda and Jonathan were supposed to be the 2 people that returned in survivor Guatemala the next season, but after the way the ulong tribe turned out production loved the idea of Stephanie and bobby John and I think chose to bring them back instead
It sucks that the plan to bring Jonathan/Wanda back for Guatemala was changed to have Stephanie/Bobby Jon come back instead. Because I honestly think that plan would've worked out much better for the following reasons: -Jonathan and Wanda could actually play in Guatemala. -Bobby Jon could've instead come back for Micronesia as a Favorite because he was pretty popular. -Stephanie's second time playing would've been Heroes vs Villains instead of Guatemala, and she would've been a perfect hero give we would've seen her only in Palau up to that point (where she was a hero for outlasting a complete tribe decimation), instead of having her come back as a Hero after her being a villainous control freak in Guatemala (therefore tainting her heroic image she had gained in Palau).
I have a strong feeling Jonathan couldve gone on to win Guatemala or even Palau if he was on either of them. He might seem like a jerk but so were most winners.
worst twist - selecting only 18 out of 20 castaways worst tribe - ulong worst merge - koror + stephenie worst final immunity challenge - ian quits after 10 hrs of struggle just to let the other one join tom on the finals without concrete reason this season's highlights however are stephenie's struggle from dysfunctional tribe and tom's winning the game all in all, this season is interesting but it sucks
@@cheese4013 I know. But what I'm saying is that Palau was very popular and watchable because of her. I remember people.remembering Survivor because of the lone Ulong survivor woman.
Dat Gamer Wolf i definitely agree but with Janu I think her quit was completely justified. Everyone was bullying her and she found her clarity in her experience. Plus it was quite a good f'you to them
Agreed. After the season where kelly and the black chick quit, they decided that they will choose whether or not to pull quitters from the jury. Since then, no one who made the jury has quit the game.
@@JuliaTheTransPeacock I think they confirmed that had Julie not quit the merge boot wouldn't have made the jury regardless. Don't remember where I read it though
They definitely needed Jolanda and a leader. They were horrible😂 only voted her out cause Stephanie blamed the loss on her, even though there was more than one person trying to untie those boxes. And just because she was “bossy”, doesn’t mean they had to do what she said. I guess some people can’t handle strong personalities. She deserved better💯
This season was so unfair in so many ways...the schoolyard pick in the beginning...the forced tribal council on Koror...the belated merge so they can have a tribe of 2 and then 1. And after that it was sooo predictable that Tom was going to make it to the end and most likely win
Yes I can. I am currently working on All Stars right now and I have to fix something on Redemption Island. Once those are complete I can do Vanuatu next.
Hadi Bastani caryn picked willard because she knew that unless there was someone weaker than her on the tribe, she'd have been sent home at the first tribal. Clearly Koror didn't need the extra strength anyway lol
@@juniper665 I think they should have picked Wanda over Kim she never helped at all. Also Jonathan over Willard but I think Caryn noted that She was an odd one out so she took Willard so that he could be the weakest instead of her.
