Maybe this is nostalgia talking, but I liked the first survivor game way more. This game feels like a minigame review.

i'd be down for a survivor lan party. i bought a survivor board game at a thrift store last year and getting my friends to play it with me was like pulling teeth.

I remember the swedish version of this show, called Expedition Robinson. I think it was that show that taught me what an opportunist was. See, during one run of Expedition Robinson, one of the contestants, an older guy, actually had wilderness skills (unlike most other contestants, who seemed more like they were there for a vacation). He could fish, he could make a fire, he knew how to build a cottage, the whole works. This made him indispensible for the group, so they couldn't vote him off the island... until there were just three people left, and the other two basically said "bye-bye, we want to win".

5:38 apparently that game was actually a mobile game from over a decade into the future that got ported back to the PC by some time travelers. That could explain why the "challenges" were painfully simple.

They really need some sort of 3D,sandbox RPG element tbh like the later Final Fantasy games during the cool off sections before the Challenges. That woulda been great tbh. I think it deserves a chance at mobile game or an MMORPG. That would be cool.

Hey Ian! I recommend playing through a game called The Ship (Single Player). Even though its a fairly recent game, the voice acting, animations, and general plot of the story are good for a few laughs. And with how good you are at creating satires, I think that you could make a really good video out of the game. Have a good day!

Is this the same Island that was on Island Peril? Dick Danger needs to compete.

This should be remade as a multiplayer online game. Tribes could be either randomly generated or hand picked, you're playing against real people in challenges and the camp segments could consist of realistic survival elements and social interactions like the actual show. Adding the ability for players to program their own islands and challenge games would go even further towards spicing things up. Nowadays a great Surviver simulator is more than possible.

One game I think would be great for your show is "Uncle Albert's Magical Album". I loved it as a kid and it features some unique puzzles and a few fmvs!

Yknow, Survivor would make a good online competition game. There is a ton of potential for fun having all real people playing against eachother.

What would make the most sense to me would be to have mini games that are based on actual challenges, or at least physical things. Even if they boil down to a simple game, they could at least sell it as a physical challenge.

Infogrames is also the game studio that helped to develop the PC game version of Monopoly that I have on my old Windows XP PC. But it's in Russian on the PC for some reason.

When I got the notification that's there was a new brutalmoose episode out, I screamed. But I couldn't watch it cuz I was hanging out with friends.

Hey Brutalmoose, have you ever played any of the old PC games based on board games? Like Clue or the game of Life? I played those as a kid, and I especially recommend the game of life as it has some interesting quirky animations in it. The Clue game is interesting too, because although it is a game that is rated E or E10+, it actually shows scenes of people getting murdered in it. whoops!

Shit I had to pause the finale of Survivor: Thailand to watch this (spoiler alert: Survivor: Thailand is a pretty bad season) I wasn't a fan of Frank on the show. He was pretty rude and homophobic :-( EDIT: the beef jerky thing is a reference to the second episode of season 2, where someone was caught smuggling beef jerky into the tribe. He was voted out pretty much right away.

A good Survivor like game would probably be Sims 2 Castaways. Its not EXACTLY like survivor but its more social and survival based. You could probably make up challenges since there is A LOT to do. One of the best WII games! I made Hidden Block and Normal Boots on there, Asagao vibes

NO BUT DOES ANYONE REMEMBER ENDURANCE? It was like teen Survivor, and aired on, like, Discovery Kids or something in the early 2000s. I watched Endurance a lot more than I ever watched Survivor, but they were basically the exact same, just with different age groups.
