Les continues his survival in the remote area of Northern Alberta and British Columbia to get as close as he can - if that’s possible - to the legend known as Sasquatch. Full of skepticism, Les enlists the help of a Bigfoot tracker named Todd Standing, who claims to have had multiple interactions with the legendary creature in the area. But Les isn’t easily swayed. Plowing through the evidence and revealing incredible never-before-seen footage that Todd has captured over twenty years of tracking Bigfoot in the bush, it all seems too incredible to ignore. But Les needs 100% irrefutable proof. For an expedition to yield any success, the search must be made by the most elite of wilderness experts who have the experience to film in the extreme conditions one can expect from the most remote locations.
Directed By Les Stroud

This is incredible! An old cowboy taught me something years ago... all animals, except humans, are afraid of fire. He used to carry a road flare with him to scare off grizzly bears in the Montana wilderness. Fireworks work great too! We always set off lots of fireworks when we hear weird noises while camping. ....and thanks to Les, I just found out I've been camping in a bigfoot hotspot for years lol.... this explains some things....

I've felt those same thuds years ago. It really freaked me out. This was before I'd even thought of bigfoot. I'd take off running, when I thought the coast was clear I'd sit down. I'd hear a twig breaking, then another, then the thuds would start happening. I was deep in the woods. This continued over and over till I finally made it out. I had no idea what I was dealing with. Never crossed my mind till last year when I started watching all these. Then it all came back me. Now I kind of want to go back. At the same time it is rather terrifying when you feel the ground shaking, hear footsteps, but dont see anything...

I like that Les analyzes the tree breaks, he looks at how they fell and thinks about it rationally. He doesn't automatically believe everything is Big Foot like people like to make fun of those who do that. There's so many instances though, where if you're honest, it just can't be explained by random, natural occurrence.
@gavb9816
@gavb9816 11 месяцев назад
in this instance its explained by Todd Standing arranging trees to look like evidence. His puppet faces are truly laughable,there's nobody believing they are living creatures. They are pathetic. goodness knows why Dr Meldrum had anything to do with this guy, I guess he learned his lesson ,we never saw him again with Standing!

@@wmichael78 my definition of supernatural is any idea, such as Santa Clause, which opposes something that i feel quite confident i know about reality. of course if it is proven real, then i would have no choice but to classify it as a natural part of the world, but if it exists only in the form of an unproven claim such as bigfoot stories, then it is supernatural until proven natural. bigfoot is in strong opposition of what i understand constitutes something existing, because 1. there is no archeological evidence of a bigfoot, when if one existed there would certainly be bones of bigfoot ancestors left over, especially if people seem to so confidently know where bigfoot specifically hide out! and 2., the "evidence" we do have is nothing more than "woah, did you hear that?" silly live action presentations, or fantastical stories which provoke a gullible persons imagination.

Absolutely refreshing. These days all we hear on Bigfoot enthusiast channels is how it is an inter dimensional spirit guardian being with extra sensory powers. Great videos , I’ve lived on Vancouver Island most of my 52 years and I spent may years working as logger in the costal forests of British Columbia , I’ve heard and even seen many things that have baffled me , it’s maybe not well know that Cougars can be excellent mimickers and can make sounds you would never expect a cougar to make like bird calls , bear growls , and other very strange noises . However I still believe there is a very good possibility of A Sasquatch type creature in our deep woods , they try hard to stay hidden as they know how humans are and how we kill and hunt all forest creatures and pollute the environment as well as totally destroy it ! I find these stories by Survivor Man very interesting and extremely thought provoking ! Thank you Mr Stroud 🙏🏻

36:00 Eye blink definitely looks fake to me, and I'm a supporter of the legend. I will say this... one year in Yellowstone, I met a bison on a well traveled trail there. I backed off as much as he could, but he came right up to me at about 25 feet away. He suddenly turned and meandered off the trail and through the wooded area. His steps didn't make a sound. I'll always remember that experience, mostly because something that had to weigh a ton or more didn't even snap a twig when I couldn't keep from making noise when trying my best not to while walking the same path. My question for the experts on this subject is: why couldn't Sasquatch be baited with apples, trapped unhurt in a net, tranquilized, blood samples taken, photos and vital signs and measurements taken, teeth assessed for age, and so forth, and then radio tagged and released?

So true story...I was around 12 years of age, I grew up in Cherokee territory NE Oklahoma, the outdoors, the woods, were our playground. And I was never afraid, never saw much more than a mountain lion to fear. But one day me and a friend were way out in the woods sitting at the top of a ravine in the middle of no where. Mind you this is Cherokee nation lands uninhabited by humans other than maybe a few hunters, a few kids like us, and maybe someone hunting crawdads, or fishing the creeks. Anyhow we are resting at the top of this ravine and all of sudden a huge rock comes flying out of no where upwards from somewhere in the hollow. We got up. Nothing happens for a minute, then another. They weren't close enough to hit us, but they were big rocks, and neared close enough to startle us. Being fearless kids instead of leaving we looked for rocks and began throwing them back. Next thing you know like 10 or so golf ball or so size rocks are whizing over our heads or to the side of us. Now its super thick brush, you would never be able to see anything down there, and we never did. So this back and forth rock throwing went on for about 10 minutes, but the rocks kept getting closer to our heads and bigger. We finally decided to leave, having never figured out what invisible force had been throwing the rocks, and while we were certainly young and foolish we weren't quite brave enough to go down the ravine and investigate closer. Its remained a mystery after all these years. But its hard to believe that a human could throw that many rocks, that size all at once. Could it have been pot growers trying to run us off...maybe, but these guys weren't dangerous and we knew them, they would have just come up and told us to find another place to hang out. I don't know what it was, and its been many many years and it still has me questioning what was throwing those rocks that big so far from below and upwards, that fast, preicise and without ever striking us, not one time.

to avoid future concern of exploitive individuals, there is a really good rule of thumb for logic to avoid being fooled which works for anyone with any intelligence level. that rule of thumb is: don't talk about things you don't understand. if you are like me and don't understand how bigfoot stories could possibly prove that bigfoot is real, then you are valid in your misunderstanding, and it is useful to then ask more questions to obtain more information which could help in proving to you that bigfoot is real. unfortunately, there exists no evidence which can be taken seriously which proves this. a LOT of exploitive and manipulative people will abuse the common human trait of us wanting to feel like we know what we're talking about, and they will cloud this judgement with storytelling as to try to convince us that we're ignorant for rejecting a story which provides no evidence.

I've loved the first episode, and just started the second, but one thing I don't understand is, if they know there's this much activity going on, why wouldn't they have just put up a few motion-activated hunting cameras around their camp, and the directions of the sounds, around where they left the apples, ect?? Wouldn't that be a fairly logical thing to do if you're trying to capture as much evidence as you can?
@seanfitzpatrick3953

@TheLargeHardonCollider
@TheLargeHardonCollider 2 года назад
You're making too much sense! Yes, we've had cheap trail cams for decades. Yes, trail cams have captured more footage of the rarest animals on earth than humans have, sure whatever. But just listen to the ~~excuses~~ reasons why something so simple isn't possible, 'Squatch has a 6th sense, he can detect them! Don't you remember that documentary Futurama? He prefers hanging out in blurry, and out-of-focus areas!! Or maybe if you shake the camera like an epileptic having a seizure he'll allow it.
@eeeeee9000
@eeeeee9000 2 года назад
I understand the obviousness of what you mean, but I think the actual answer would be because all those cameras would be hard to carry (and expensive) on what is supposed to be essentially a camping trip. And I think stuff like game cameras aren’t exactly the clear cut evidence we tend to assume they are…that stuff can be pumped up with fake speculation drama just as easily as any other woods footage.

I watched all episodes, and in these episodes the right questions and attitudes came into play. For example, entice bigfoot to find you. I had an encounter back in 1978, and it was only 50 feet from me, in a cornfield od all places. The great thing was, I was not alone, there were seven others with me watching this creature looking at us. It was late Sept., and the corn was a good seven feet high, and it came up just below its chest. I and another person was standing on a hay stack watching it, while the other five with us were behind us on a higher area. If anyone is going to prove their existence, it's you Mr. Stroud.
