And away we go! Here ya go gang - some of you have been asking for this one. For more updates, follow my Facebook page! / thereallesstroud #Survivorman #LesStroud
@PrepperNation_Hus who saw it, heard it, got goosebumps from mere thought, font need science to prove it. Sooner or later, you will get the evidence you need.
@PrepperNation_H did you know there's only few animals that look and walk like a human? And none originated from the area where I saw mine. It can only be one thing. It let's you know it's the thing, you don't have to think about it. The fear in your bones is enough.
I’d love to watch a S&R show! From the Rescued and Rescuer’s perspective. Like, not actively running from them, but getting into the most challenging spot! That would be awesome.
I love the idea of having a show with search and rescue looking for you. The show would highlight the hard work that those heroes do to help people. I'd also be super happy to just sit through a video of you going into depth about how you approached filming. I personally don't know much about filming but I think it's super interesting.
Proud of you for getting the scope done, brother! I'm a fair deal younger than you, but I've been battered all my life by bowel issues, specifically crohn's disease and colorectal cancer... long story short; the scopes are literally a piece of cake, the "hard" part is the drinking of the prep like you were preparing to do while filming this commentary. The scope itself you're out cold and don't remember a thing, wake up and ride home, then sleep easier with peace of mind that you don't have anything going on in there to worry about.
@@jayl5032 Literally the only benefit to the conscious sedation was the ability for me to drive myself and keep my wife from having to take a day off work
@@Bluebloods7 Damn! That's crazy. Did you see anything in there? Like tumors or polyps or anything like that? That's my one fear, is that they'd actually find a cancer.
Hi les I am hoping this comment sees you well, i just wanted to say I am a huge fan and these videos mean so much to me, whenever I feel a bit sad or lonely I put your commentaries on and it makes me feel so much better. So thank you Les ❤️❤️
Aloha mate I've watched Romania part 1 7 times because it's beautiful there so many Sas people Aroha me te marama love and light from Okanagan valley bc PNW Canada.Skoll kjaertighet og lys 🧡🖤🎶✨♾️🔥💜❤️🔥❤️🌻🙏🏽🕉️💯🌎
I’ve loved your stuff since I was a kid and I always loved how your goal was to teach people how to survive and show them the beauty and hard reality of being alone in the woods, not just trying to make good tv but making something that will stick with you forever
I would LOVE to see a search and rescue episode(s). Plus it would be great training for the crews. Thank you for another great episode of Directors Commentary
This was great but im sorry, when les started frantically looking through the couch for his remote to pause and comment, i laughed so fricking hard😂 that was the realest
The G.O.A.T is back thanks for all you do and teaching us the right way to survive. Your test results will be positive and I know it's personal but please keep us informed.
Its so important to get tested! My father had a part of his intestinal track removed due to a tumor. Thankfully they caught it in time! Gotta take care of yourself, no price on health! Goodluck Les!!!! 👉 😬
Awesome Les, Good to see you ! been waiting for this directors commentary one of my favourites Thanks. Also this style of episode the way its been made I thought this was a really good idea i think it would make a good series done with S&R. cant wait for those new Bigfoot episodes I thought you did an Amazing job with that series to Thanks again All the Best 😁 And Keep Rocking 🤟🤘✌👍
it's already up 0- in fact that whole season is up in the directors. commentary playlist : ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-BqwpsyoR8U0.html
i remember watching this episode the first time on this youtube channel about 2 years ago. its one of the episodes that made me feel i was watching a man lost
That point at 35:35 mark after he just bout walked off a cliff while talking to his camera. Its no wonder mate he didn't see hear or smell the 8 Sas people sitting 4-7' from him.Hell if id had same happen to me I wouldn't seen nothing at all.He could say me lap and sang a tune and I wouldn't seen it heard him.Les almost had a traumatic injury and possibly death.Ya I'm grateful that Les is alive and well he's got lots work to do and a willing audience ready for more brilliant programs.Cheers mate Aloha🖤🧡🎶💯❤️🔥🙏🏽🌻
Les , When I was about 10 my dad bought some land very rugged. I went out hiking and got lost. It was terrifying. East West etc meant nothing. As the sun started to set I finally made my way home. Great vid. Always and forever a fan.
Same. I got lost n managed to find my way back as the sun set. Dad was back at the cabin and I thought I fooled him that I didn't get lost, but he knew I was lost till I found a way back... miss you dad
Your a badass Les and in my opinion, you started this survival craze, but I dont see much acknowledgement. I thank you anyway, I can watch these shows for hours.
Thanks for sharing Les Stroud. Maybe most of us - hope it never comes to that tbh - will have some chance to survive and live in the wilderness if ever the world will fall to such a state that we might have to. And some might survive thanks to people like you, and perhaps even thrive.
Great commentary! I do like the rawness of the earlier episodes, but I also like seeing the progression in filmmaking in the later episodes, as a video producer.
HAHAHA Les you have been, still are and for all of eternity will remain the greatest. This episodes intro made me absolutely die 😂😂 you're the best lmfao
LOVE LOVE LOVE the director's commentary!!! I've been watching you since the very beginning Les and enjoy everything that you bring us. Keep the good stuff coming. HOPEFULLY, we'll see some new survivorman episodes.
I remember watching this and had a strong feeling you were being watched from tree line while at the hut! Later when you almost fell down the mountian, it was there @ 59:58! It's because you are connected to nature Les! ❤👣
Excellent as always, Les! I have watched every episode of Survivorman at least 30 times or more and it is more exciting to watch the commentary versions as you learn so much about what was actually going on with each episode.
Its really nice to see you still kicking. It may sound funny, but I feel like I know you and we have been on many journeys because it felt like I was there with you on Survivorman. Keep up the great work Les. Keep surviving and thriving.
Thank you for releasing this commentary for free. I remember watching you on cable TV as a youth. Would be awesome if you could do commentary on some of the big foot episodes.
Just watched the hunting temagami with Bushman Bob episode and I loved it definitely one of my favorites that would be the most likely situation I'd find myself in, love the whole SAR perspective while they were hunting you and Bob down, I fell back in love with survivorman, so of course I had to watch the most recent directors commentary
It was a clump of leaves, unfortunately. But, Im 100% sure Sasquatch peoples exist and there are a vast amount all over the world. There are a lot of other beings too, and of course like everything else we have been lied to by the government.
@@SurvivormanLesStroud Hmm, I honestly can't find them anywhere, I searched again. Maybe done means filmed but not uploaded yet? Thx! (Or I'm just blind)
This may be an unpopular opinion, but I absolutely love the music, style, format and even the clothes of seasons 1-3, it just had a certain charm (not to say the charm still isn't there). I love all survivorman but the first 3 seasons I fell in love with, but it may be nostalgia factor
Raw form of the early ones, awesome. The more polished ones, also awesome. But I got a laugh at the close of this one- it's machismo that says "get skills, carry tools", as these are things men do. It's a philosophical difference, I guess.
Makes absolutely no sense why search and rescue teams/organizations don't get more exposure for the amazing things they do. They're saving lives in the most hellish conditions, still not getting the credit they deserve, imo.
if you had a cooking vessel and a source of water, to make that jerky go even farther is to take 1 piece and shred it or chop it up into little pieces and boil it up with the water. that not only purifies your water, it gives you a much more filling warm broth and eks out your food a bit more.
Les, I wish there was a way to be able to get your survival kit. I know they aren't for sale anymore, but I didn't know they were a thing until it was way too late. I have searched the internet over and over trying to find one with no luck. Looks like an awesome survival kit.
You don't sound egotistical lauding your own show. Not when it's as well produced, both artistically and technically, as Survivorman was. To the contrary, you sound honest and correct.
you could always produce on your own on youtube. ❤ have you considered doing hikes where others have needed rescue? for instance we have had several instances where groups have tried crossing the Harding Icefield near Seward Alaska and needed rescue. Military and recently a private group had to be rescued.
