alright for those who still dont get it: that little shadow type line infront of the crow is the guaranteed damage spot, it has infinite range so if it hits anything past that you get swarmed, if you get hit from any range whatsoever while swarmed you take damage, if it nearly misses you the killer gets killer instinct
If they hate Artist then it's good. DBD is way too unbalanced to add anything "balanced" so might as well make everything busted to guarentee that it will be used in game. Very bad design but BHVR has been doing it since the dawn of time.

You need to hit 3 times first you gotta hit the swarm then 2 hits and if they get the crows off before the second or third hit from long range she will have to hit you another time
Hex: Pentimento would work best with Trapper with long disarm Traps and self opening traps. don’t trap anything until all totems are broken then trap the ones you’ve done until you get all 5 going.
There is no reason for survivors to ever cleanse dull totems, so a survivor needs to: 1. Be under no pressure at all to make a decision to do something other than generators 2. Actually make that decision to do totems himself, he has to see it beneficial for himself in any way 3. Spit in the face of the existence of boons and cleanse a totem that could be blessed 4. After he does it one time, another condition activates: a survivor now sees hes debuffed, sees killer relighting totems, and STILL make a decision to cleanse totems. When you go in a match and this perk does jackshit i wanna see no surprised pikachu faces, ok? It doesn’t even work on paper
Now imagine using pentimento with devour hope, thrill of the hunt and haunted grounds so if they don't cleanse totems you get devour and if they do you get pentimento and if they bless it takes forever because of thrill
@@bunnii603 yeah that's the whole point they have to make a choice and either break or bless the totems if they cleanse or bless the wrong totem they become exposed also blessing takes longer on hex totems so they would waste time not doing gens and also getting punished by haunted but if they broke the totems instead now you can use pentimento and slow down the gens so it would work because of how it puts the survivor in lose-lose situation
pentimento, thrill, undying, ruin could be good aswell, this way they will have to waste 48 seconds twice to remove any hex while ruin can provide some slowdown by itself

Blight and Demo were the best killers we ever got imo. Blight has mobility and a fun if slightly situational power in chase, wich is pretty fair and fun to verse. Demo has decent mobility and his shred is pretty fair too for the most part, not to say he's usually the cutest killer player. Why can't we have more killers like them? :( Unlike most other killers who always have some kind of bullshit element to them they are pretty fine too. Example of bullshit element: Bubba Camping, Huntress Hitreg, Wraith uninteractive, Legion Boring, you get it.

With all these anti-loop killers being added, maybe BHVR should change how looping in general works, it's always been pretty bad and is a big reason why you see killers like these in top spots and not Clown/Wraith and so on.
Instead of fixing the problem for good, why not make money by creating different solutions and sell them. Don’t forget to make it strong so when you nerf it, it’s “justified” that way people will anticipate the next “solution”.
Her only counter is holding W until she catches up (she will because deploying crows really doesn't slow her) and them getting shat on when she inevitably does
Idk, music cool, I like the ink but she seems insanely unfun to vs, they should 100% remove that walking thru a bird swarms you, she is also 115% killer so I actually dont see counter play in chase

She got a lot of shit because she was easily top tier along with nurse but with a significantly lower skill cap. ANYONE could pick her up, practice for about 8hrs and start seeing 4ks. All you had to do was open your ears and you were good to go. Before you start insulting people, at least come with the facts instead of wasting people's time with your nonsense.

Ironically she also has the exact same issue they had/still have: Punishing survivors for doing the right play. Pyramid head used to be OP at windows cuz if you vaulted he hit you with range and if you didn't he'd cancel into M1. Nemesis still has the thing above. (Nerf that please) And Artist can place a crow aimed at a window that even if you bait the activation of she still has time to recover and swing as you're vaulting.

Ist so dumb. Huntress projectiles dont go through walls, huntress has hum, 110 movementspeed, has to reload. While the new killer is 115, can spam her shit through walls, normal terror radius, recharging her ability on the fly, crows are straight line crossmap. Its insane
@@purelucknoskill5158 I understand the frustration with huntress’ hit boxes but I think she is genuinely pretty balanced. whereas the artist has high speed, map control, extremely powerful anti-loop that, when used correctly, can immediately render any loop unusable without any significant slowdown. Another killer with the fantastic counter of holding w to buy as much time as you possibly can.
I love how DBD made pyramid head but better, I think it's very- design wise insane. Props. Gg. So good. Not to mention she has the same mechanics like moving while setting up the m2 and canceling it instantly so survivors always have to juke and hold w not making the game fun!? Incredible.
Hex: Plaything is arguably worse. Now they can't just boon-snipe your Devour Hope or Ruin or whatever, so you can ensure more potential targets for Pentimento.
@Estrogen Fury she's clown on steroids in her current state. She's a anti loop that can gather intel with her projectiles that sorely lacks mobility. The only difference is every single part of this is more exagerated than Clown's. She might possibly still get genrushed in bigger maps due to no mobilily but will destroy on small ones due to ez chases and information and will overall be extremelly unfun to go against. Shame, she has such a cool design. Knowing BHVR i doubt they can salvage this... It won't take long until the majority of the community realises this and properly admits she's busted. ( of course some idiots still will fight tooth and nail that she's fine just like with spirit )

I think one of her main problems is that her crows when left stationary completely eliminate a shred of looping potential. If they made it so that running into a crow just didn’t damage survivors, or instead do a secondary negative effect it would be better. Run into a crow while being swarmed, maybe it extends the time that it takes to fight off the swarm or something. I also love the map. Really good for survivors on account of it’s size and the fact the main building has 2 guaranteed god pallets and 2 god windows with a breakable wall you need to smash, but it’s really beautiful and atmospheric. I’m sure I’ll hate it when the novelty wears off but why be pessimistic

Also if you run it with Ruin you will get crazy slowdown if they cleanse it (along with all the work that Ruin does during the match) I think the one issue is how Boons completely counter it, they should think of some fix for that

Pentimento is pretty ludacris, realistically speaking, to get 5 tokens, first you would need survivors to not bless them, but who's gonna cleanse totems anymore right? Even if they cleanse totems, they would have to do them at the beginning of the match, and you need to quickly go to each one before they re-cleanse it to destroy it entirely. For full value of 5 tokens, is useless towards the end, having totems blocked doesnt help, and rekindled totems dont revive your other hex perks.

Give the birds an acceleration period when launched and make the trap birds an iri add on instead of base and I think the killer would be strong and fair.
Everyone seems to overlook overcome. It's stronger than Sprint Burst and you don't have to walk everywhere and extends the chase for even longer if they don't have stbfl. Only down side is that it isn't Dead 'ard.
Sounds good on paper, but think about it. Her cross map is strong because it gives her knowledge on where survivors are, which if you have lethal is redundant. Hitting a survivor so they’re swarmed, then hitting them again to actually deal damage is very hard to do across the map. Best case scenario you injure one survivor and they’re immediately healed by their teammates.
@@SalvaJr17 blight can kill, killers take more skill than survivors but at higher rank the artist is a genuinely amazing killer that has a really boring anti-loop ability I don’t think even the killers find that fun unless they play the game purely to bolster their ego

The new killer hex,,,, just dont cleanse totems, rather boon it problem solved lol. As for looping her just use the new perk Overcome and hold forward waste as much time as possible. Maybe use Lucky Break with it to totally lose the killer.

that doesn't work It injures if its in range of the beam on the floor whilst placing and is in line of sight. Any other time the survivor MUST BE MARKED before they can be damaged by crows. Source: I tried it
Yet another reason to stay away from DBD and play better games! Sick of all the new killer powers that guarantee hits regardless of how both sides play.
Some fun facts: Crows placed by The Artist can apparently be dispelled by flashlights/flashbangs similar to Hag Phantasm traps. Unsure about crows that are fired off but I'm doubtful about that since they move so fast. Hex: Pentimento has the wrong description right now. The first and second effects are mixed up. At 1 totem lit, survivors will heal 30% slower, at 2 the gen repair speed will be affected. This is actually how it is it's just wrongly described on the PTB. Also you can defend totems from across the map with her crows it's honestly disgusting.
I think that the gen speed and healing speed should be reversed, because gen speed is much more valuable and getting it so easily is just silly? Numbers are not op though, because it's in survivors hands anyway.
The one thing that might be op is the scouting ability. Idk the birds going across the map to check a gen seems super strong. Besides that the successfully made a strong and cool killer
I wish i could join these to experience the killer before they get nerfed. She looks so fun. I imagine her range will be nerfed to like deadslingers range or something.
