Never heard this except for McCartney. What a treat to hear Susan sing it. My family is originally from the Argyl region - Campbelltown - and this song touches me to the soul. When I visit Scotland from the States - I melt when I hear this.

Her every move is graceful and pretty, and even her way of walking epitomizes everything that Britain stands for. She is charming and gracious,and brings out the finest in everyone who appears on stage with her. If there is anyone out there who dislikes Susan Boyle, then that person must have critical personality flaws. She could lead her nation back to international prominence, if she only realized the fantastic power she has over people all over the world.

She is so lovely and talented. This is one of my favorites of her performances. I had the privilege of meeting with her personally in her dressing room at her Phoenix concert to present a special gift some of us had made for her. Mark that off my bucket list lol. She was as sweet and funny in person as she appears on stage.

Susan is conquering her nerves - she is currently (July 2013) doing a mini tour in Scotland. She's performing a full 2 hour show, singing 24 songs and the reviews have been fantastic.

Hi Patricia why not make it a priority to visit the actual Mull of Kintyre on the Scottish coast. It's accessible to all and can be a day trip from Glasgow. I did it by motorcycle in 2015 complete with a recording of The Wings version. A real highlight of that trip from Australia

Paul McCartney composed songs that are on par with GreenSleeves, Danny Boy and lots of other folk songs. They will be sung for centuries. I am just a nobody who lived in this era (1971-present) but I managed to take my 18y daughter to see him while he is still among us (Freshen up tour, payed front rows split monthly payments). Will remember forever.

Wow, dossery100, I am in awe of you, actually seeing/hearing her sing live and to meet her. I am in Michigan, USA, so have not had the "privilege' to see her live, or meet her. Would love to do that one day! Thank you for your comments. I can see that there are quite a few of us that truly appreciate real talent! She is one of God's gifts to us! +Mark Vann In Scotland, 'mull' is most commonly used in the southwest, where it is often applied to headlands or promontories, and, often more specifically, for the tip of that promontory or peninsula. (from Wiki)

It is an actual place on the Scottish coast not to be confused with the Isle of Mull. It is basically the location of the lighthouse for that Mull and a road takes you across farmers land to within walking distance where you descend down a non public road to the lighthouse. No shops so take a picnic lunch and water for a steep climbing road back to the car park.
