One of the most touching and beautiful songs I have ever heard. Her voice is just angelic. I love her voice, and her interpretations of every song she sings. Thank you my friends, always a pleasure to tune into you lovely guys. Keep up your tremendous work 👍
Mike & Ginger, there you go again!! reacting to one of my absolute favorites! Susanne is one of our most celebrated and acclaimed singer /songwriters for the last decade in Norway. To quote myself in my Susanne playlist : Susanne Sundfør, composer /songwriter /player /singer/ arranger and producer. Her music is dark, light, funky, poppy, electro, classic, it turns and twists, often in surprising new directions. She has given out 8 albums over the years with breathtaking music.
brings me to tears every time and now its 10 times at least. PLEASE LIsten to the version from the Oslo Opera House-- in color with choir and strings. Absolute RIVER OF TEARS. Its her tone and her range and her instinct for how to ride the melody. AWESOME TALENT and UNKNOWN, Very sad.
Thanks 🙏 love Susanne Sundfør❤️❤️❤️. She is one of our musical treasure and she have been making music for a long time and many female musician stands on her shoulders. Best from Bergen, Norway 🇳🇴 stay safe 🤗❤️
react to "white foxes" and do the music videa in order to get the sound/mix optimal, it will show another side of her, very electronica Also "the brothel" live at the cigal is one of her earliest performances
Susanne Sundfør is a gem. A very versatile artist with an incredible voice, and her live performances just blow you away. I have a playlist with 130 of her videos on my channel. I HIGHLY recommended these songs: - The Silicone Veil (Live Skavlan 2012) - The Amorous Humphrey Plugg (live on BBC proms) - White Foxes - The Brothel - Mountaineers (featuring John Grant) - No One Believes In Love Anymore - Memorial - The Sound of War (Live at Spellemann) - M83 & Susanne Sundfør - Oblivion - Röyksopp & Susanne Sundfør - Never Ever - Röyksopp & Susanne Sundfør - Ice Machine (Depeche Mode cover) Live on Lydverket
Canadian Megan Covacs on piano , she is part of the canadian-norwegian duo 'Bow to each other' .Their album The Urge Drums, was produced by Susanne Sundfør. Susanne is multi talented , that's for sure! She has so far released 6 albums and won a lot of music prices
i can highly reccomend "father father" live from the spellemansprisen 2010. it's a very rare footage since she plays this song only seldomly, but oh, what a performance is this! ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-M-ATY7QYl78.html
thank you for introducing susanne to me!!! i am in the loop now [her voice speak to my soul in someway i cant pinpoint exactly like somenordicfeelings...]
This is simply one of the best voices out there. Watch her live and yeah... And the lyrics... She's the full package... Her song Brothel is epic, hint hint ;)
Great reaction to a beautiful song! Our neighbours in Norway (I'm in Sweden) do have some great voices as you've noticed. As a long-time Depeche Mode fan it would be fun to see you react to Susanne performing a cover of Depeche Mode's perhaps most obscure song "Ice Machine" (b-side on their debut single from 1981) together with fellow Norwegians Röyksopp. Gives me goosebumps every time! ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-hFPlGDKgiYc.html
You really got hooked by the Norse bug, really fun to see you enjoy our culture and music. You should defiantly travel to Norway when world get more normal again...
I feel like you have to be very young to write thouse passionate songs. But I am wrong. This is beautiful art. Thanks. I am a single dad with two young kids and no space for passion. When i see the two of you i miss it more.
Some of Susanne's latest published work is songs and score to a documentary about Lene Marie Fossen called Self Portrait. Lene, celebrated photographer, passed away from anorexia a month before the movie were released, 1 year ago. It is a strong experience to watch this one, but at the same time very beautiful: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-1oWFCkcdmZI.html

Thank you for a nice review! I love this song alot! Real nice to see your reaction, made me think of two things afterwards: A beautyful song, and a beautyful couple sharing this moment. Its easy to see your love :) Thank you again
Yeah, it's a masterpiece and sung with such a wonderful timbre and tone to it. Susanne is very musically gifted and has a huge catalogue that covers a really wide range of musical styles. If you want to try "White Foxes" you'll find a fine live version from Nobel Peace Price Concert. Good to see you, as always!!
Would you guys please consider doing a reaction to Julia Sheer & Jake Coco performing "Don't you want to stay," Julia got very high praises from Kelly Clarkson for her part in this performance. A music lover could spend days on Julia's RU-vid channel, it's really phenomenal....
I have the studio version, several Live versions. But the one that stands out are the Live from the Barbican. I bought it on Vinyl end of last year. Its Magical!! Susanne always bring an extra dimension on her live gigs.
