The way Moe consoles Sutan when she wanted more juice is so precious. As a mother, she makes sure Sutan learns to let things go from this very young age. Such a great mother. It's heartwarming how Moe thinks so much of her international fans that she keeps suggesting and demonstrating substitutes, be it with the ingredients or ways to cook.
Definitely, although she sometimes forgets to say what the traditional ingredient used is and only says the substitute. For example, in the eggs she used sugar as a substitute, but traditionally mirin is what is used for sweetness. She forgot to mention that. If it is available to you, I recommend using the traditional ingredient to expand your palette. Not a big deal though!

The sushi rolls looked delicious, Moe. When I was in college years ago, a fellow student from Japan made us sushi and he showed us how it was done. Unfortunately for us, none of my roomies could even make anything close to a functioning sushi roll and once our friend moved back to Japan, we pretty much gave up trying to make them. I'm going to give this a try as your video made it look pretty simple.
@SpatulaMonkey69 We have Publix supermarkets here in South Carolina but I'll have to double check to see if the one near me has a sushi bar. I don't recall seeing one there but I might have missed it.

I’m glad I stumbled upon your channel- as a recent college graduate, I’m trying to get better at making real meals for myself and being better at homemaking skills, and your videos are really inspiring and motivational. And thank you for being so considerate when considering the ease of accessing ingredients for those of us in different countries! All the ingredients for this are easily accessible for most people where I live (US), even in my small city/large town. I also already keep sushi rice on hand because it’s my favorite rice to go with almost everything!
