A man wanted in connection with a deadly shooting inside of a Chick-fil-A restaurant outside of Dallas has been arrested. Irving police said Oved Bernardo Mendoza Argueta, 37, was booked into the jail early Thursday morning. Police say Argueta shot and killed two people inside the Chick-fil-A restaurant on Wednesday.
An ICE Spokesperson confirmed to Fox News Digital the suspect was in the U.S. illegally. "ICE lodged an immigration detainer with the Irving Police Department on Mendoza," the official told Fox News.
A woman told FOX 4, "We think that our kids are going to be safe when they leave the home to make some extra money and when they get here, something happens. And this is too close. This is too close."

The shooter was 37 years old Oved Bernardo Mendoza Argueta and per Irving police, the 2 victims were targeted. The shooter was arrested already and he is on immigration hold now. He is an illegal immigrant from El Salvador. The 2 victims are 49-year-old single mom, Patricia Portillo and 31 years old, Brayan Alexis Godoy. Both were employees at that fast food restaurant. The shooter's wife who is also an employee at that restaurant and saw the whole incident unfold and she identified her husband as a shooter. She said that he walked into the restaurant, then opened fires and ran away.
