We undertake a major upgrade to the motorhome finally taking the plunge ahead of up-plating the vehicle. We currently have a maximum weight allowance of 3850 kg and following advice from SVTech we have replaced the front spings to comfort springs and added air suspension at the rear. We used a company called Motorhome Supplies Ltd based in Wakefield.
Before the upgrade we stopped of at Stanford Hall caravan park near Lutterworth where we met with friends and whilst the work was being undertaken we borrowed a car from Motorhome Supplies Ltd which enabled us to explore the city of Wakefield and a nearby country park; Anglers Countrypark.
This is episode 132 in a series of videos cataloguing our post retirement adventures. We are Kath and Sue and we are travelling the UK with our two dogs Archie and Fudge and living full time in our Burstner Elegance Motorhome. We have given up conventional living for a new van-life, enjoying the freedom of the road and plenty of time outdoors taking in the beautiful countryside the UK has to offer.
