thank you very much. took me two days of searching to finally be able to remove vertical mattress stitches that badly needed removal, but covid volume and snow days had pushed back. thank you so much.
Can i do this at home myself? I had an ingrown toenail surgery and have one thread over surgery site, i dont want to go to nurses because they treated my wound very roughly, opening the surgery wound when cleaning the site.
I would say so. When I had mine removed the provider didn't even clean it, and they only made one cut so the exposed string got pulled through the skin. I feel I could have done it more cleanly just watching this one video.
kindly guide me due to SUTURE REMOVAL - MATTRESS one stich under the stomach i had the gallbladder remover surgery then one rob blue colour drop under the skin at position little hol on the skin and rising the liquid ?? i m very confuse tell me some thing
My family doctor did not do this when removing my stitches. There were 7 stitches total, 2 of which were horizontal mattress. He just cut them in the middle and pulled both ends back through by the knot....
My nurse did not do this... She literally pulled it out, no cutting anything just 10 days after... I couldn't sleep because of it. It's like a new era of pain was unleashed
Yep; can happen; difficult to remove; can be painful for pt. Suggest a bit of LA at site of embedded suture; then use skin hook to fish out the suture and cut it. A bit fiddly, but works. Do let me know how you get along. Best of luck!🤞🏽🙏🏽
