What happens if the latch release is broken and you can’t open it manually anymore? How do you open it to replace the latch actuator?

Just a "heads up": I believe that it's a rare thing, but, I've run across a fuse that was visually "intact", but, electrically it was "open"! Always believe the test light, and only believe your eyes when you can SEE that the fuse is "blown"!

My lift gate still opens and closes but not automatically. When I hit the button, I can hear the motor trying to do its job, but the trunk doesn’t open. I have to pull it all the way up. & to close it, when I hit the button, I hear the motor trying to close it but again I have to force it shut. Would this be bad fuses? Or would I need to replace the equipment that automatically opens & closes the lift gate?

Hey just to help if this would. My gate was stuck and i tried everything even my fuse was good. So u just pull out the fuse and count to 20 and put it back in and wow i work perfectly fine. I believe dusting issue was the problem

2:08 to 2:10 you incorrectly identified a fuse. The DSPLY fuse is a 10A. fuse, the RDO is the 15A. fuse, and you checked a 15A. fuse with the test light. If the circuit you should be testing is indeed the DSPLY circuit, you checked the wrong fuse. These type videos are good, but I don't agree with sending people in the wrong direction. In our line of work, accuracy in diagnostics is key to finding the problem.

Someone help!!! I have a 2011 highlander and my rear door isn't working right.when I got home from work I tried to open it from the inside but I heard a beep sound so I go out my truck and I open it and I see that it's not my regular struts on the sides but is some kind of other strut?!? I guess but it goes inside that I noticed was unscrewed and a wash was still connected to it and a round ball piece so I'm not sure how to fix it! Need help me and my bf been looking on RU-vid for vids to fix but can't find this particular one!!!😔

I have a 08 enclave, and my rear blower motor is not working. There is no air coming from the rear vents. I have checked the fuse, i have removed and tested with one from a junkyard with no luck. I bought the blower motor resistors brand new with no luck as well. The problem i see is that there isn't strong enough ground going to the blower motor no matter at what speed i place it on. Can anyone help or give me other things that i can check

I need your support for below issue. I have GMC Acadia 2022 SLT. The power liftgate stop working. If I restart the computer by disconnect the electrical cable from the battery the liftgate will work normally for short time. After short time the liftgate stop working and need another restart. also I want to mention that the external push button at the liftgate not working at all. so please your support.

I have a 2010 Chevy Tahoe and I tried to close the door without using the button and well it shattered my window and I don't know if somehow the actuator when out of time skip a gear or what but now my door seems crooked and I can't find anybody to help me with it do you think is the actuator do I have to reset it or do you think is just skip a gear or something

Help. My 2011 Chrysler T&C will randomly shut down while driving. No indications no rattling no missing nothing it's just driving along fine. If I try to immediately restart it just spins sort of like how it sounds if its out of gas. So it won't restart immediately. I have to leave it for about 30mins-45mins and it just starts again easily with no hesitation. It goes several weeks before it shuts down again. Scanning shows no issues.... of course there is no mechanic around for miles to scan during the incident. Scanning after the incident shows no issues. Please help I have gone to several mechanics and very frustrated!

Good Video but what a piece of junk car - tons of plastic and difficult to find that release button on the inside hatch.

Linking just about everything into computer modules. Just one of the many ways car manufacturers are ensuring themselves to secure future repairs be done at the dealerships. Sure, you can also take your vehicle to an independent shop but if you try to fix it yourself, forget it.

Access hole didn't help. Gate tries to open but catches. Dealer: "5 1/2 hrs", nearly $1000. A month's ss!

Or you could just flip the "power door" switch back to On in your nissan rogue after going days thinking you broke the motor.
