I've owned all three versions, and the 3.0 has some great improvements. The manufacturer definitely pays attention to user feedback! Living in the desert, I don't rely on meal delivery much. However, I do save the scan cards and reuse to make my own rapid meals using store bought frozen items. Like you, I also use those pans for other tasks such a marinating meat. They are fantastic! The overall build quality is top notch for all components.
The most thorough review I have seen on this yet. Thank you. Btw, if you want crock pot/slow cooker recipes that aren't one note, check out ATK's and Martha Stewart's slow cooker books.
Awesome review Kenna ! Definitely looks like an awesome concept, counter space definitely an issue here , but definitely interested. Have a fantastic week 🥂
Hi, thanks for the review... Others mention the noise and water spilling/overflowing so they're returing their Suvie. What's your experience with this?
Hi!! No problem:) There is a continuous noise while it is cooking, however I’m not usually in the kitchen while using Suvie, so it doesn’t bother me. As far as the water, that can definitely be an issue if you over fill your water container. So as long as you have the correct amount of water in the container, you shouldn’t have a problem. Hope that helps!!
I’m 24 and live alone work 14 hour shifts been looking into this for 4/5 days a week I wonder what the TDP of it to stay cold for 14 hours, 11.49 per meal serving isn’t bad
Yes, its equivalent to eating out each day, or using this when you are feeling lazy and dont want to cook, instead of ordering out or going out to dinner. Meals come out to 22-28 dollars a piece. Meals are "supposed" to feed 2 people. I say supposed to because Americans tend to have much larger portions.
