Sounds good! If interested, here is a link to my campground reviews map which you can click through to any of the review videos: johnmarucci.com/campground-review-map/
Good review, John. Should try Stephen Foster near White Springs, which is close by to the I-10/I-75 interchange for those traveling along the way. Thank you.
Two ways to support are using SuperThanks on occasion (dollar sign within the heart icon at the bottom of each video) and using our Amazon store when possible. As far as 2023, plans are up in the air somewhat just now. Thanks!
Thank you John for reviewing this State Park. We have passed by it for decades. Now we know we wont be visiting. Driving from Orlando to be in cramped little sites does not sound appealing. Biking, hiking and canoeing/kayaking are also important to us and it seems like its not the best for 2 out of 3. BTW you removed the review of the over-landing RV you bought with many issues. Did you come to a resolution with the company that required removing the video and not making further comments and or videos about it?
That can be certainly true. Good park if you want to be on the river and don't have to work. Campground isn't the best with the soft sand in the sites. Thanks!
You really needed to mention weather. The dry air has made this a mild hurricane season so far. Otherwise September is the peak of hurricane season. Generally expect high winds and rain, tropical storms, and possible hurricanes. In the summer, horribly hot and humid. A living hell
I think time of year can make a real difference. I have never been in FL in winter months and seen anything near the bug issues in Michigan in summer months. Thanks!
