I remember watching this on 48 Hours and his phone showed him running around their house and investigators said possibly chasing her, and part of his alibi was he was running around shooting at animals that came on their property and I believe it was with a tranq. I knew it was him from the beginning.

I understand why the daughters defend their dad considering a LOT of parents hide abuses or details from their children. He may have been good to them or they’ve been conditioned to accept bad behavior from men (more common than you think). The alternative is that you lost your mom AND your dad who was supposed to protect her and you did it so you lose both parents. They must not watch much true crime either because it’s sadly always the husband.
