I found the real problem, the screw that adjusts the throttle position was set too high, I turned the screw until the engine revs down to about 1600. I felt so amazed, knowing that this would be the first adjustment I I had to check before I did what you did. It is understood that there are other similar symptoms, which could be causing the same problem. Originally who could have thought that the reason for the engine revs going to 3000 and has 4000, that the air filter could cause this. As I said after I cleaned the filter, the engine revs had dropped to between 2000 and 1900, now it runs great. Thank you for your suggestion, I think one day it will be useful and necessary to use the service connector

BalkanBiker, I had a similar problem, the high idle after starting it up was not has steady as yours, bu it would go up to 3000 or so and would oscillate up down to lets say to 2000 and up constantly. It turned out to be the air filten, that looked like it was never cleaned by the preivouse owner after I got the Burgman 1months ago. After it was cleaned, the idle speed went back down to 2000 rpm abd steady at startup and then it went down to 1900 rpm. But I think that it is still to high. My question is, shouldn't the idle speed be at 1500 rpm or so +/- ? but I don't know how to lower it. Forgot to say, I have. Burgman 400 K7 injection type body.
