Your cinematic skills are insane. I’ve watched every one of your videos tonight and they’re just nuts. You probably spent hours upon hours making these videos. So worth it.
The way this is shot is almost reminiscent of the original mad max motorcycle chase scenes, where the shots fluctuate between crystal clear, and vibrational. Watching this feels so close to actually riding. Please produce something involving a motorcycle chase, I'm begging you lmao
I know what you mean.. I love that too. I have a movie concept with motorcycle chases involved, just need a studio to invest in my production company. Someday!! In the meantime I'll make more content, just takes a while since it's high production value. Stay tuned!
Got one of these years ago and absolutely love it! it's my spring summer and early fall daily driver. With fuel the way it is now I'm even more glad a got one!
Just stumbled across this vid. Absolutely stunning my man! I used to love early morning overcast days in riding LA on my drz400sm, now doing it on the Tenere 700. You managed to capture a feel of the city thats almost reminiscent of 90s film how this came out visually, Well done! hope to see more and bump into that 650 around town!
Great video. Absolutely love my DR Have 37K on it, and it's still fun every time I throw my leg over the seat. I have a Vstrom also, but would never sell my beloved DR
Awesome, thank you. Yup, so fun in any circumstance wether it's in the city or off-road. splitting lanes downtown in rush hour is a breeze too. I have about 12k on mine.. Can't wait to get to 37k! Vstrom is the most comfortable bike I've ever rode, my buddy had one a while back. cheers.
@@modshiftmotion put your weight on the outside peg and shift the bike under you while keeping your body upright, square your shoulders with the bars and look where you want to go. practice these and you will be ripping
Who records these videos for you? I can’t even put into words how far greater your videos are than most others on RU-vid.. I mean damn it’s near cinematic 👌👍👍😎
Thank you!! Friends and fellow industry fans of cinema coming through on camera. I'm editing and directing these myself. If your curious to check out some of my work you can preview some content on my website modshift.com - I haven't updated it in a couple years now but I'll be getting around to refreshing everything this year. Thanks for the comment and really stoked that you're into it.
Some of the footage reminds me of the 1971 Movie The Omega Man with Charlton Heston. They had to shoot on sundays so there was no traffic. Check it out well done.
Love the bike and watching you putting it through its paces love the vids get yourself a shark raw helmet its got the attitude to go with the bike thats what I wear with mine
Putting my foot down in a turn has nothing do with anything. It just means I was having fun and put my foot down because I was having a good time. Thats all. This is not a display of perfect riding, I can turn just fine without putting my foot down. I'm glad you are still riding at 59, cheers to you.
@@modshiftmotion oh ok point taken I just noticed you do it in all your slots thought it might be a habit when you ride I’ve still got my 1986 DR600 love it such a good solid reliable bike
@@modshiftmotion how can u see it I am in the uk looks like your in the usa??? Mines black restored kick start only just serviced it I had a DR400 before that and before that had a xt250 and started on a honda xl125
@@jeffvaljean6030 You can post it haha. Yeah I'm in the US, based in LA. youve had quite a few classics, you have each increment in CC's, great to have all those bikes.
Thank you and hello from Los Angeles. The music is from a soundtrack of the movie "Interstellar". Check it out the track here - ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-XnKzQRE4Olw.html
I couldn't sell this motorcycle, I thought I could sell and buy a new one, but no.. now I save for a second motorcycle, my wife supports me, my 2004 and I repaired a lot of it garage, I changed a lot of parts, even wires
I'm not really making any review videos.. at least for now I'll be focusing on the cinematic side of motorcycle films. Thanks for the request though, cheers.
Hello, your bike looks cool ! Beware you tend to counter-lean ( ie your chest stay vertical when the bike wants to lean ), also you really don't need to use your feets. It's ok because you're not riding so fast but it might be dangerous on slippery roads. Stay safe ! ✌
Thanks for your concern but I'm riding a dirt bike. It's totally different style. I'm riding it like a dirt bike because I feel like it. If was riding a road bike, I would ride differently. Also this was over 4 years ago and it's funny to hear advice from how you rode in the past assuming you haven't improved. So it's pretty funny. Thanks again for your advise. Take care.
@@modshiftmotion I ride the same way. When you start off riding dirt bikes as a kid you will ride every bike after that like a dirt bike no matter how big it is. %^)
Leo Vince X3 muffler. Highly recommend it. It even comes with different exhaust tips you can change to find the exact sound and feel you are going for.
What was your go pro settings other than the resolution and frame of view? Shutter speed auto or fixed at 1/48? Nd filter? Shot and edited in 24fps? Thanks!
