Hey guys, some great advice there with that ball needle thingo. Little tips like that make the difference to a good running bike & not having a problem after it's all put back together. Thanks for sharing & ride safe m8 : )
Yo i like your air compressor set up and tool kit. thanks for the video im about to swap plugs on my 97 im scared to see how bad they are haha. this bike needs a bit of work but it is sweeet
Thanks! Let me know how you get on! Here is the inflator I use www.adventuremoto.com.au/rcd020-rocky-creek-motopressor-pocket-pump It is really good. I just replaced my tyres and used it to set the bead it pumped them up to over 40 psi no problems. It does get quite hot though so I just stop every so often and let it cool down. Fits into my bag on my fender.
Great work mate you have a new subscriber 😊 please can you tell me if the reference spark plugs are a same for a 86 DR600S? recently I buying a DR600S with a manual start 😅 it's a really fucking hard for starting 🤔 cheers from Norway 🇳🇴 👍
Thank you! I am not to sure on that one, Have a look here see if you can find the plug and get the number www.fowlersparts.co.uk/browser/manufacturer/suzuki/bike/dr650s/year/1990/colour/all-colours May be worth checking you valve clearances too if hard starting
No it doesn't, from memory the caps are slightly different which would only be an issue if you had a big tank it may contact. But as far as the operation of them they both fire at the same time so makes no difference
Never trust the gap from the factory. These plugs fit many different motors. Who knows which motor they gap it to. Even if it was gapped to the DR motor, they could get bumped out of spec along the way. Safer to just check and adjust the gap on your own.
