Suzuki are churning out very good cars these days. I never used to be a Suzuki fan but the latest stuff like the G Vitara and this Fronx and the Celerio, I think are really good

This car is the replacement for the Vitara Brezza in all aspects and is a great competitior in the sub 4m crossover market. This car gets the essentials like push to start, led headlights and foglights and the whole ESP suite. This car's only sensible competition is the Chery Tiggo 4 pro Comfort in terms of spec and price.

I drive the Suzuki sister vehicle "Toyota Starlet" and I'm so impressed with the brand. Much love to Japan and India. This is quality, affordable and technologically advanced motoring. I hope they will start building them in SA to create more jobs for our youth ❤

I'm actually very perturbed at Suzuki South Africa for the price increase on this and some other units. It is mainly profit driven and not customer centric decisions that can make or destroy a brand. I went to the dealership and was shocked at the R18K increase for thie Suzuki Fronx. Its scandelous and shocking. In this segment I have lot of options and will be switching to the South Koreans.

Sad. No 6 gear autobox or 1.0l BoosterJet like in India. Sad that SA doesn’t get the same models as in India. Frustrated that Suzuki SA does this. Looked forward to put this as potential car on buying list.
Hi @conradprinsloo307, the K15B 1.5L engine best represents our well known Suzuki reliability and it offers our customers the best balance of power and efficiency while maintaining affordability.
@@SuzukiAutoSA disagree. The 5 speed and 4 speed auto is old school. You are focusing on this as a Urban Car doing school runs and shopping. You forget our roads are long and meant to be explored. This car with the gearbox is not built for long distance driving and only for short distance driving. You don't take our landscape or the wider adventurous people in consideration. With the gearbox the car will run at high revs. Look at reviews of previous cars and here what they have to say. All of them said on almost all the reviews, wish the car had 6 gears. This is also why the Jimny is off my list and why I am struggling to consider the Grand Vitara. Before bringing a car out do market research and here what the consumer want, effectively this will boost your income and sales in South Africa.
@@conradprinsloo307i get that, I really do, but they were trying to hit a price in that very competitive sub 4m suv segment. On another note if you want the 6 speed auto for the GV you can go with the top spec Hybrid.
@@mindfreeze0838 and what if you don't have the budget for the GV. It would be nice in this price point to think about end users that CAN NOT afford a R 600,000.00 car. It is only a gearbox and why in India can they do a 6 speed torque converter but not in SA it doesn't make sense to me.
@@conradprinsloo307@conradprinsloo307 In India, the dont get the K15B, they get the K12M to offset that vost for the gearbox. Six speed toruqe converter gearboxes arent cheap despite popular belief. The only other alternative to the 6 speed box is the AMT gearbox which despite being good, people balk at. The 4 speed is not the best but its not the worst either in terms of noise. I will suggest this, test drive this and the Chery Tiggo 4 Pro comfort(this cars only real competitor at this price point) which has a CVT gearbox, drive them both in town and on the highway and see which one is best for you.
What a good looking car, but Suzuki is really loosing customers with the 4 speed automatic, I personally don't want a manual but a 4 speed automatic is a big no, waiting for a day they introduce a 5 or 6 speed automatic gearbox.

Are you also gojng to replace the Fronx with something else after a year like you did with the Vitara Brezza? Model loyalty is not one of the core values of Suzuki it seems.
Hi Willie, thank you for coming to us with your concerns. As part of Suzuki's global strategy, a decision was taken to replace the Suzuki Vitara Brezza (and related OEM models) in all African and Middle East markets, with the Suzuki Grand Vitara and Suzuki Fronx. This allows for further diversification of the Suzuki model lineup, offering customers a wider range and more options and styles. Please let us know if you need any further assistance. #SuzukiSA

Toyota already waiting on the touchline to enter the field with the rebadged Taisor to spoil the mood for Suzuki brand lovers. The Suzuki-Toyota relationship here in Mzanzi is flawed. Are we ever going to see a Toyota car rebadged as a Suzuki here? Or Only Toyota benefits for Mzanzi market?
Hi Mayor, Suzuki and Toyota have entered into a partnership at a global level, there are some models in our line up that are produced in the same factory and share the same make-up. Please let us know if you have any questions. #SuzukiSA
Do NOT buy a Suzuki in south Africa there is absolutely NO after sales service and satisfaction, it would be better buying another brand anything else ,ive beem waithingbthree months for assistance
Hi @GreenVicar, we are very sorry to hear about your experience. Please can you inbox us more information about your experience, your contact details (email and phone number) and VIN so our team can look into this? #SuzukiSA
Let's be honest, Positives (1) good looking car (2) Practicality looks fair for/in the segment (3) Price point - perhaps well priced (highly debatable though). Negatives (1) power train and performance figures - guys it's 2023 this is utter crap [138Nm????] (2) interior: dash, shifter and stereo design - absolutely backward - Suzuki and Toyota must wake up and see what other kids are doing.. Verdict: overall good car for a lamen's man BUT looks over advertised for what it really offers. I can't wait to see some reviews from car enthusiasts (compared to other brands in the segment) on built quality, fuel economy, engine performance and refinement, comfort, driving experience and overall practicality. Otherwise, well done Suzuki but come on you're an old kid now - do better! 😊❤
